Getting around Sydney and what to do while you are here (or so much jewellery and so little time) Getting to the Conference Sydney College of the Arts The Conference is being held at Sydney College of the Arts. SCA is located in the historic Callan Park precinct in Lilyfield. SCA is on Kirkbride Way accessible from Balmain Road. The vehicle entrance in to Callan Park is from Balmain Road (opposite Cecily Street). By Bus Buses to and from the City via Victoria Rd Bus numbers 500, 504, 506, 507, 510, 515, 518, and 520 leave from Circular Quay in the city, turn at the Queen Victoria Building (near Town Hall Station) and travel across the Anzac Bridge to Victoria Road and stop on Victoria Road, Rozelle. M52 goes along Victoria St from Circular Quay and Parramatta and all points in between. The 501 bus travels from Circular Quay but travels to Victoria Rd via Central Station. Get off the bus at Victoria Rd near Darling St. Turn left at Darling St and walk until you see SCA on the right. The campus is in a park so just follow along the road and you will find it. How to use public transport in Sydney? The Conference venue, exhibitions and workshops are all accessible by public transport. The best way to do this is to buy an Opal Card. You can buy a card and put money on it once you arrive in Sydney or order an opal card online at https://www.opal.com.au The website gives you information about how the opal card works but broadly if you do more than eight trips everything after that is free during the week (Monday-Sunday) and on Sundays the maximum amount you will pay is $2.50 no matter how far you travel.
