APPROVED CONCEPTUAL Located at NW 82nd Street and 114th Avenue, the future Doral Legacy Park is conceived as a place in which the community can gather to enjoy sports, cultural arts, and nature in a safe environment that is representative of the beautiful City of Doral. The park will encompass 18+ acres in the section 7 area of Doral. FEBRUARY 2015 JUNE 2015 JUNE 2016 AWARDING OF ARCHITECURAL AND ENGINEERING BID During the April 2014 Council Meeting, Council authorized the City Manager to negotiate and enter into an agreement with Wannemacher Jensen to provide Architectural and Engineering Services for Doral Legacy Park KEY PARK AMENITIES Football/Soccer Artificial Turf Field Youth/Adult Softball Field DORAL Full Sized Outdoor Basketball Courts Splash Pad 35,000 sq. ft. Community Center

GROUNDBREAKING EVENT In the Winter of 2015 the City of Doral had its official groundbreaking for the future NW 114th Avenue Park. Patrons were invited to take part in this historic occasion for the City, and had the opportunity to see firsthand what the vision of the City s seventh park is. Following the ceremony the attendees were able to enjoy breakfast and discuss the upcoming park with the City Councilmembers, City Staff, and Wannemacher Jensen Architects. AWARDING OF CONSTURCTION MANAGER AT-RISK BID Council authorized the City Manager to negotiate and enter into an agreement with Biltmore Construction to provide Preconstruction and Construction Services for Doral Legacy Park. Clearing of the park site began on April 2, 2015 and as of October 17, 2015 the vertical construction was underway. TOPPING OUT EVENT On Tuesday, March 18, 2016, the City of the Doral had the Topping Out Event for Doral Legacy Park! PARK AERIALS & UPDATE Aerial Photos are scheduled every third week of the month. These aerials were taken on June 24, 2016. Construction is expected to be completed Fall of 2016 LEGACY PARK

DORAL APPROVED CONCEPTUAL The Proposed Doral Glades Park is conceived as a place in which the community can gather to enjoy nature in a safe environment. Covering about 25 acres, this park is located on NW 74th Street between NW 97th Avenue and NW 107th Avenue. The City has moved forward with the permitting process, finalizing conceptual design, and working on construction documents. GLADES PARK MARCH 2008 JUNE 2014 JUNE 2016 NAMING OF THE PARK During the October 13, 2015 Council Meeting, the Mayor and Council Approved the new park name Doral Glades Park for the previously known Doral North Park. AWARDING OF ARCHITECTURAL & ENGINEERING BID On Tuesday, June 9, 2016, during the City Council Meeting, the Bid for the provision of Architectural and Engineering Services and Related Disciplines for Doral Glades Park was awarded to CPZ Architects. CONCEPTUALS In May 2016, CPZ, the architects for this project, provided the City with conceptuals seen below of the future community center. AWARDING OF CONSTURCTION MANAGER AT-RISK BID During the June 8, 2016 Council Meeting, Council authorized the City Manager to negotiate and enter into an agreement with the top ranked firm, Pirtle Construction.

AQUATIC FACILITY APPROVED CONCEPTUAL The City of Doral is working on the conceptual design for a proposed aquatic facility along with the cost estimates, which was approved by the Mayor and Council. COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS The City has hosted two community workshops. The first workshop was held on June 2, 2015 and the second on March 16, 2016 in the Morgan Levy Park Community Center located at 5300 NW 102nd Avenue. During the workshops, the community expressed their ideas about what they wanted to see at the Aquatic Facility. The City Council held a workshop on April 5, 2016 to finalize the conceptual, estimated construction, and operational and revenue costs. The Final Revised Conceptual was considered at the May Council Meeting. APPROVAL OF CONCEPT & MOVING FORWARD During the May Council Meeting, Council approved the conceptual design for the Aquatic Facility and approved the extension of services to the existing agreement with Stantec Consulting Services for the provision of Architectural & Engineering Services and related disciplines for the development of plans and specifications. On July 6, 2016, the City of Doral and Stantec entered into an agreement for Architectural & Engineering Services and Related Disciplines for the Aquatic Facility (Resolution 16-132). On July 12, 2016, the Parks Department and Stantec had their Kick-Off meeting.

PARKS MASTER PLAN UPDATE KEY ELEMENTS OF THE PLAN TO INCLUDE: An updated evaluation of the City s existing parks and recreation system Assessment of the City s needs and priorities, including significant public participation Analysis of parks facility levels of service Development of a long-range vision for the Parks and Recreation Master Plan Specific emphasis on the potential development of Doral Central Park to include conceptual designs Cost estimates for each design Potential phasing of project Potential funding sources for design and development. & More! THE SURVEYS Surveys went out to the community and were also available online via www.playdoral.com. Responses were due by July 1, 2016. The surveys have been evaluated and is currently being reviewed by the Parks & Recreation Department THE VISIONING WORKSHOP Join us on August 24th & 25th for a public open house where patrons can come and review the work to date, as well as provide any feedback.
