Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry /Suspect Information From: 03/27/2017 8:30am To: 03/28/2017 12:56pm 23000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial Retail) Window was broken out with bricks. Victim states she came to check on the building and found the window broken out with a brick and items have been moved inside. Misc. costume jewelry is missing from the counter and a couple lamps were moved toward the front door to possibly be taken later. 03/29/2017 5:50am 21000 W Eleven Mile Rd. (Commercial Retail) East entry glass door shattered and broken out. At 6:15am the owner of business arrived and advised that the cash register was missing. Business had a security camera that showed an unknown suspect entering the building using force breaking the glass door. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, black down jacket with fur on the hood, white tennis shoes and a red ski mask with a ball on top of it. The camera showed at 5:50am the suspect breaking the glass with an unknown object running through store and going right to the cash register. The suspect grabbed the cash register and ran down the first isle and exited out the door.
From: 03/29/2017 6:00pm To: 03/30/2017 9:00am 21000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Recycle/ Salvage Yard) A large piece of concrete was thrown through a 3 x 4 window on the east side of the Building. Representative from the business states that sometime overnight, between 6:00pm- 9:00am, someone broke out window on the east side of the business gaining entry into the building. Suspect stole 2- Radio Navigational Systems from a storage rack behind the counter. Suspect exited the business through the same window he made entry. Victim states sometime between 8:30am- 5:10pm someone forced entry into his attached garage through the north side garage door. A Snow Thrower, Generator, and Circular Saw are missing from the garage. No entry was gained into the main residence. From: 03/31/2017 7:00am To: 03/31/2017 6:00pm 27000 Everett St Front door was forced open. Victim states sometime between 7:00am- 6:00pm someone forced entry into residence via the front door. Two Play Stations are missing from the residence. 04/02/2017 7:51pm 21000 Negaunee St. Front door was forced open. Victim states sometime between 1:00pm- 7:45pm someone forced entry into residence and took a jewelry box containing miscellaneous jewelry. (Commercial Plaza) 17000 W Lincoln Dr. R Recovered Stolen VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT GRN - Green 2003 SW - Station Wagon 2017 2003 GREEN VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT SR - Both Stolen And Recovered CHEVROLET IMPALA WHI - White 2006 4D - 4 Door 2017 Recovered Date/Time 03/27/2017 12:00pm Officer was in the area of the 28000 Block of Northwestern responding to conduct an area check for evidence regarding another incident that occurred in the parking lot earlier in the night. Upon searching the parking lot Officer located a green Volkswagen Passat Station Wagon in the N/W corner of the parking lot. The rear window and right rear passenger window were broken out by two rocks from the parking lot asphalt. Southfield Police Dispatch ran the plate through LEIN and it came back stolen out of Detroit on 03/26/2017. Vehicle was recovered. Victim left her vehicle running unattended at approx. 10:50am. Victim returned to her vehicle at 11:10am and the vehicle had been taken. (Commercial- Towing) R Recovered Stolen Nissan Versa SIL - Silver or Aluminum 4D - 4 Door OK 2017 Totaled In Accident The vehicle was towed to Police Towing Yard after it was involved in an accident. It was later discovered that it was a Fail to Return Rented Vehicle. 03/29/2017 5:06pm 40000 Galleria (Commercial- Office Center) S - Stolen GMC ENVOY BGE - Beige 2006 PK - Pickup Truck 2018 Victim advised that she parked the vehicle in the south lot east end at Office Building in the 40000 Block of Galleria at approx. 8:00am. Victim advised that she returned to the spot where she had parked the vehicle at approx. 5:00pm and found the vehicle had been taken.
From: 03/28/2017 5:00pm To: 03/29/2017 8:00am 21000 N Hidden Rivers Dr. (Residential- Condo s) SR - Both Stolen And Recovered CHRYSLER 200 BLU - Blue 2016 4D - 4 Door 2016 CHRYSLER 200 Recovered Date/Time 03/30/2017 4:00pm Notes Vehicle Taken Without Permission With Keys Victim started to receive phone calls from various credit card companies inquiring about purchases made from various locations in the Detroit area. Victim checked her purse and she noticed that her Michigan Operator's License, multiple credit cards and keys to her vehicle were missing. On March 28, 2017 a friend stayed the night, and he was gone in the early morning hours prior to victim waking up and discovering her car was taken. Victim stated that she did not give suspect permission to take her property or her vehicle. After she discovered her property was missing he would not answer her phone calls. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.
03/31/2017 11:02am 27000 W Eleven Mile Rd. (Commercial- Corporate Business) S - Stolen CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER GRY - Gray 2007 4D - 4 Door 2017 Officer met with Security who advises they have incident on video. Reviews of the video shows a Silver Older Dodge Intrepid (right front door damage) enter the lot at approx. 11:02am. Vehicle is seen pulling in behind attacked Chevrolet. An unknown person wearing dark clothing exits the passenger side of the Intrepid and appears to crawl towards the attacked Chevrolet. A short time later the attacked Chevrolet and suspect vehicle (Dodge Intrepid) leave lot together, heading E/B on 11 Mile Rd. From: 03/31/2017 4:00pm To: 04/02/2017 5:00pm 21000 Northwestern Hwy. (Commercial Community Service) S - Stolen Chrysler Town & Country WHI - White 2008 SW - Station Wagon 2016 2008 White Chrysler Town & Country Vehicle was originally involved in a Police Pursuit in a separate incident. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and it was discovered that the vehicle belonged to a business in Southfield. The owner was contacted and didn t realize that the vehicle had been stolen. Owner advised that the vehicle was left unlocked and the employee s know that there is a key to the vehicle left in the visor. It is suspected that one of the employee s took the vehicle. Incident is under investigation.

(Commercial Car Rental) R Recovered Stolen FORD FUSION WHI - White 2016 4D - 4 Door FL 2017 WHITE FORD FUSION WITH A FLORIDA PLATE R Recovered Stolen CHRYSLER 300C MAR - Maroon or Burgundy 2017 4D - 4 Door 2017 Chrysler 300 Officer was on routine patrol when he observed a White Ford Fusion with a Florida License Plate pass him. Officer ran the plate on vehicle and it came back stolen out of Detroit. A second Southfield Officer assisted with stopping the vehicle and the vehicle stopped w/o incident. After interviewing the driver it was discovered that the driver had a Suspended Driver s License. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was a rental vehicle. The person that rented the vehicle was contacted and she stated that the subject driving the vehicle took the vehicle w/o her permission and she filed a Police Report with DPD. The driver was arrested for DWLS & R&C Motor Vehicle. Employee for Car Rental discovered that the vehicle had been dropped off at this location. The vehicle was originally rented at Metro Airport. It was not returned on its due date and was entered as stolen. Vehicle was recovered.

Sometime between 04/01/2017 @ 7:00am- 04/04/2017 @6:00pm someone stole his vehicle. No suspect information at this time. Larceny: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 03/27/2017 3:48am 23000 Lahser Rd. (Residential- Apartments) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2016 Ford Explorer. Witness stated he walked out this morning at approx. 3:48am and observed his neighbor's Ford Explorer missing All Four Wheels & Tires. He observed an older Gold Camry leaving the parking lot but he did not know if it was related to the theft. 03/28/2017 4:26am 25000 Catalina St. Briefcase with Laptop was taken from 2007 Hummer H2. Lathrup PD put out a BOL reference a suspicious subject and several LFA s in the area of Lincoln & Rainbow. Officer drove into the area and while checking the area he located attacked vehicle, 2007 Hummer H2 in the driveway in the 25000 Block of Catalina. The suspect wasn t located at this time. From: 03/27/2017 6:00pm To: 03/28/2017 4:00am 26000 W Carnegie Park (Residential- Apartments) S Stolen License Plate 2005 Plate stolen off 2005 Ford F-150. Victim states sometime between 6:00pm and the following morning at 4:00am someone stole the License Plate from her 2005 Ford F-150. Victim believes that a subject known to her is responsible for the theft of her License Plate. The suspect has been following her and has made threats of physical harm. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation. 04/01/2017 11:33am 22000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial- Retail) 2- Wheels & Tires from the passenger side of victims 2017 Lincoln MKZ were taken. Victim states that he parked his 2016 Cadillac MKZ in the parking lot by the Tire Center at the business in the 22000 Block of 8 Mile Rd. Victim states that he went into the business for a short time and when he returned the tires on the passenger side of his vehicle were stolen. Victim states sometime between 10:00am- 1:00pm someone cut the catalytic converter off her 2010 Honda Odyssey.

Victim states sometime between 8:15am- 8:00pm someone cut the catalytic converter off victims 2000 Toyota 4Runner. 03/31/2017 12:00pm 28000 Northwestern (Commercial Car Dealership) S - Stolen Handgun Victim states his gun is missing. He believes he left it in the dealerships loaner vehicle which was picked up from his home on March 31, 2017. The vehicle was picked up by a porter and returned to the dealership. The vehicle was checked for the gun at the dealership and it wasn t found. Victim states he s not positive where he may have left his handgun. Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked Victim states sometime between 03/31/2017 @ 7:00pm- 04/03/2017 @ 6:00pm someone entered his Comcast Work Truck and took his I- Pad and the case that it was in. Victim was able to track his I-Pad to 15340 Trinity in Detroit. No suspect info at this time. Unknown at this time if there was any follow up in reference to the address in Detroit.

Be on the Look Out Highlights: Special Attention: Larceny of Wheels & Tires This Past Week. 1) 23000 Block of Lahser Rd. (Apartments) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2016 Ford Explorer. The R/P (witness) observed an older Gold Camry leaving the parking lot at 3:48am. Possibly involved. 2) 22000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial Retail Business) 2- Wheels & Tires from the passenger side of victims 2017 Lincoln MKZ were taken. Arrests by SPD Officers: DWLS/ Obstruct Police/ Possession of Cocaine- 1- Arrest 04/01/2017 2:45pm Evergreen Rd. & W Nine Mile Rd. Officer stopped vehicle for Traffic Violation. The vehicle was occupied by three subjects. After stopping the vehicle the driver exited the vehicle and started to argue with Officer about why he stopped him. The driver started to walk away and was ordered to stop several times before he would return to the vehicle. The driver returned to the vehicle but refused to get back into the car. The two other occupants also exited the vehicle now and were also arguing with Officer about the stop. Additional Officers arrived on scene to assist with the stop and investigation. It was discovered that the driver had a suspended license. He was arrested for DWLS/ Obstruct Police. Later at the jail suspected cocaine was recovered in a rolled up lottery ticket in the drivers right front pocket. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician Field Tested the suspected Cocaine. Result was positive for possible presence of Cocaine. The driver is also being charged with Possession of Cocaine. The other two subjects that were in the vehicle were released at the scene.
Special Attention: Fleeing & Eluding Suspect Information. 03/31/2017 3:58am (City Park) Southfield Officers located a suspicious occupied vehicle at Inglenook Park. While speaking to the driver, they determined there was marijuana in the vehicle. The driver then fled, striking a patrol vehicle. The pursuit was terminated in the area of 12 Mile and Coolidge. The male driver provided his identification during the initial stop and is a Southfield resident. The vehicle is a Black Buick with damage to the driver s side and rear bumper from the impact with the patrol vehicle. No one was injured in the incident. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation. Special Attention: R&C Stolen Property Arrest 16000 Block of Stratford 03/30/2017 4:09am Southfield Officers, along with Oak Park Officers, identified and arrested suspects in recent LFA activity. Further investigation is being conducted regarding other LFA s. Suspect Vehicle: S Suspect Vehicle BUICK REGAL BLK - Black 2012 4D - 4 Door Dark Black Buick Regal
