Detailed Itinerary Day 1 Antananarivo Meet by our representative on your arrival at Ivato airport and transfer to the hotel. Night at hotel - BB Day 2 - Antananarivo - Diégo Suarez (Antsiranana) Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight to Diego Suarez. Meet on arrival and transfer to the hotel. A visit of The 3 Bays is programmed, beautiful and unspoild white sandy beach with the succession of bays: the Sakalava Bay, the Pigeon Bay and the Bay des Dunes. All three bays are equally beautiful with turquoise waters bordered by long beaches of fine white sand. At low tide, the small islands can be easily reached by walk. The Sakalava Bay, often windy, is the favorite place of the local fun boarder. Picnic lunch included. Afternoon back to the hotel. Night at the hotel - LDBB Referencia: DOD2062
Day 3 - Diégo Suarez (Antsiranana) - Amber Mountain After breakfast, visit the Amber Mountain National Park created in 1958 to protect a one-of-a-kind flora and fauna. Covering an area over 180 km², the park is situated in a volcanic set of the Quaternary age, and ornamented with lakes, craters and waterfalls. The Amber Mountain rises to 1475m. On the way, we ll find Joffreville which was, during the French colonization, the holiday resort of the military who appreciated the fresh air of the heights. After a picnic lunch, walk in the park crossing the botanical path, the big waterfall (80m high), the Antankarana waterfall and the Roussettes Forest Station. The flora of this rainforest is lush and diverse: big endemic trees, epiphytic plants, tree ferns, pandanus, ficuses, araucarias, palm-tree, healing plants, orchids, over 1000 species of plants were registered here. The fauna is equally exceptional, with a wide variety of birds, chameleons and amazing amphibians, as well as 7 species of lemurs among which 5 are diurnal, then the Amber Mountain Fork-marked lemur (Phaner electromontis) the Crowned lemur (Eulemur Coronatus) and the Sanford's lemur (Eulemur fulvus sanfordi). Lunch on the site and return to the hotel in the afternoon. Day 4 - Diego (Antsiranana) - Emerald sea - Diego Departure after breakfast to discover The Emerald Sea paradise. Transfer by car along the coastal road, surrounded the bay of Diego and his famous "sugar loaf" or Nosy Lonjo island, to reach Ramena, a small fishing village with a large white sandy beach. From there you board on the motor boat for a memorable day trip to the Emerald Sea with a turquoise lagoon like a natural aquarium. Free time to explore the long beach, bathing or snorkeling in clear water, surrounded by thousands of colored tropical fish. It s not rare to cross marine turtles or manta rays. A delicious lunch will be served on one of the paradise islands. Don t forget to bring your beachwear, camera, sun hat sunscreen.! Early afternoon, return by boat to Ramena and then by car to the hotel.
Day 5 - Diégo Suarez (Antsiranana) - Red Tsingy - Ankarana After breakfast, the Ankarana East. On the way, stop to visit the Red Tsingy, stone formation of red laterite, less impressive than Tsingy Bemaraha, but easier to access. Continuation to Ankarana East eroded limestone massif sharp ridges known as Tsingy. located in Ankarana. Day 6 - Ankarana dedicated to visit The National Park of Ankarana West. This reserve covers an area of 18 000 Ha and is mostly made up of Tsingy with unexpected canyons, forests containing a network of caves and underground rivers. This park is a fantastic place for hiking and discover the endemic fauna and flora. Picnic lunch, and back to the hotel in the afternoon.
Day 7 - Ankarana - Nosy Be After breakfast, departure to Ankify where you will embark on a speed boat to Nosy be with a halt visit Nosy Tanikely and Nosy Komba. Tanikely is a small island with white sandy beach famous for its marine reserve and ideal for bathing and snorkeling, after a fresh sea food lunch, continuation to Nosy Komba the 2nd biggest island behind Nosy Be. Night at the hotel - LDBB Possibility to visit the Lemurs Park and the fishermen s village with the traditional boats. Enjoy a moment of shopping take some handmade embroderies one of the main women activities in the village. After the visit continuation by boat till Nosy Be, then transfer to your hotel. Day 8 & 9 - Nosy Be Days at leisure to relax and discover the island. Night at the hotel - DBB Day 10 - Nosy Be - Antananarivo Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight to Antananarivo. Day 11 - Antananarivo Today, depending on your flight time, you may have a city tour and visit the handcraft market of Digue; lunch at a local restaurant (own account). Transfer to the airport for your international flight.
