A full review of all bus services in this area has been carried out. Our review has taken into account reliability, the usage and connectivity in and around. What are we proposing? As a result of this review we have developed proposals for changes to the bus network in and we would like to know your views: In summary: Route R1 (Green Street Green Grovelands) would continue to run between Green Street Green and Grovelands. We are proposing a minor re-route from Repton Road to run via Tower Road, Station Road, Station approach and Station in both directions. Monday to Saturday daytime frequencies would be reduced to every 20 minutes. Route R2 (Biggin Hill Valley Petts Wood Station) would run between Biggin Hill Valley and Town Centre. It would no longer run between and Petts Wood. Route R3 (Locksbottom Chelsfield Village) would be re-routed from Station to Hospital via Tower Road. It would no longer run between and Chelsfield Village. Also, it would run via Amherst Drive instead of Poverest Road. Monday to Saturday daytime frequencies would be increased to every 20 minutes. Evening and Sunday frequencies would be increased to every 30 minutes. Route R7 ( Bickley) would be extended from Bickley to Chislehurst War Memorial and extended from to Chelsfield Village. Monday to Saturday daytime frequencies would increase to every 30 minutes. We would introduce an hourly Sunday service. Route R11 (Sidcup, Queen Mary s Hospital Green Street Green) would continue to run between Queen Mary s Hospital and Green Street Green. It would no longer serve Edgington Way, Sidcup Tesco and Hospital. Monday to Saturday daytime frequencies would be increased to every 12 minutes. Evening and Sunday frequencies would be increased to every 20 minutes. Full details of the proposed changes to routes R1, R2, R3, R7 and R11 are on the following pages. 3

Detailed proposals Bus Route R1 We are proposing to change route R1 in the area by using Tower Road, providing new links and a more direct and quicker service to and from Station. It would no longer serve the northern section of Sevenoaks Road; routes 358, R7 and R11 would still serve this section of road. Current routeing Daily R1 St. Paul s Grovelands Road St. Paul s Mid eld Way Mickleham Road St. Paul s Wood Hill Leesons Hill St. Mary Avenue Crofton Road High Street Walnuts Centre War Memorial Sevenoaks Road Repton Road Eton Road The Highway Chels eld Windsor Drive Glentrammon Road Green Street Green High Street Proposed routeing Daily R1 St. Paul s Grovelands Road St. Paul s Mid eld Way Mickleham Road St. Paul s Wood Hill Leesons Hill St. Mary Avenue Crofton Road High Street Walnuts Centre War Memorial Repton Road Eton Road The Highway Chels eld Windsor Drive Glentrammon Road Green Street Green High Street Buses from Green Street Green would be rerouted from Repton Road via Tower Road and Station Road to existing routeing. Buses from Grovelands would be rerouted after serving Station via Tower Road and Repton Road to existing routeing. 4 We are proposing to reduce the Monday to Saturday daytime frequency from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes. We are also proposing to increase the frequency of route R11 which would provide additional capacity between St. Mary and. Together these would provide sufficient buses to meet current demand on all parts of the R1. Buses on the R1 would continue to run every 20 minutes during evenings and every 30 minutes during Sundays.

Bus Route R2 We are proposing to shorten the route so that it would run between Biggin Hill Valley and Town Centre. This would allow us to provide a more reliable service. The route would no longer serve High Street (north of the Walnuts Centre), Lower Road, Amherst Drive, Petts Wood Road and Petts Wood Station.
