John R. Bell II Curriculum Vitae John Bell is the President and founder of JB Aviation, LLC ( JBA ) located in Wichita, Kansas. His background includes 34 years of experience in corporate aviation. JBA is a Cessna Citation Service Provider and Aviation Consultant company that has been supporting their clients in the United States and International since 1998. JBA offers a broad range of services which include Aviation Department Development, Professional Pilot Services Domestic and International, Ferry Services, Short-Term Aircraft Management, Aircraft Cost Analysis, Aircraft Evaluations and Deliveries, Aircraft Systems and Crew Training, and SOE/IOE training requirements. Mr. Bell s interest in aviation started back in 1972 while attending a Private Pilot Ground School course at Palomar Community College in San Marcos, California. He later received his FAA Private Pilot ASEL license in the summer of 1973. In June of 1973, Mr. Bell enlisted in the United States Air Force as an Avionics Weapon System Specialist on the F4 C/D Phantom II fighter aircraft and served for just over 4 years. While in the Air Force, he obtained his FAA Commercial and Instrument ratings. In February of 1978, Mr. Bell passed his FAA CFI checkride and started instructing Private Pilot Students part-time with a Las Vegas FAA Part 141 Flight School. He later obtained his FAA Multi-Engine Land (AMEL), Single-Engine Sea (ASES), CFI Instrument and Multi- Engine ratings. During the two plus years instructing, he logged more than 2000 flight hours and recommended over 25 applicants for their FAA checkrides. He currently holds a CFI Gold Seal certificate. Courses included Private, Commercial, Instrument, Multiengine, Seaplane, Airline Transport Pilot and CFI (Certified Flight Instructor). In August 1980, Mr. Bell turned to Business Aviation flying and operated a Piper Seneca II, Cessna 421 and a Turbo-Commander 690B. In July 1983 until December 1983, he served as a Captain on a Piper Chieftain (PA31-350) with an Air Taxi 135 Operator flying Grand Canyon Scenic Routes. Later that year he returned to Business Aviation which brought him to Arkansas. From January 1983 until August 1985, Mr. Bell served as Chief Pilot on a Piper P Navajo (PA31P) and as an Account Executive which included managing and negotiating contracts with non-profit organizations. The company decided to sell the aircraft as they could not justify the cost. In September of 1985, Mr. Bell was contacted to recommend an aircraft for a startup LTL trucking company located in Northwest Arkansas. The company purchased a Piper Cheyenne II (PA31T) and he was hired as Chief Pilot and later as Chief Pilot of Corporate Travel and Flight Operations. He was the first pilot employed by the company and was instrumental in developing the flight and travel department. The company later purchased a second Piper Cheyenne II and later increased their staff to nine employees. In August 1994, the company expanded its territory and the decision was made to exchange the Piper Cheyennes for a Cessna Citation II (C550) and a few months later a Citation CJ (C525). Besides flying throughout the forty-eight states the Citations expanded flights that included Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. In 1997, the company flew over 950 hours, issued under 3,000 airline tickets totaling more than one million dollars, and operated within a department budget just over three million dollars. From 1987 to 1995 Mr. Bell also conducted a number of Private Pilot Ground School Classes and Flight Training in the region.

John R. Bell II- Curriculum Vitae Page 2 Mr. Bell s background experience since 2000 has included a number of international ferry flights with North Atlantic and Pacific crossings. He has supported a number of operators in Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea. The support he has provided includes qualifying their crewmembers (IOE/SOE) to meet their Air Taxi requirements as per Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and qualifying their Flight Attendants. Aircraft Evaluations including Pre and Post Maintenance flights and aircraft consultations have been services Mr. Bell continues to perform. As a member of NBAA s Cessna 500 Technical Committee, he visits and meets with a number of Citation owner/operators discussing their issues with their aircrafts. The committee also meets with Cessna Aircraft twice a year discussing customer concerns and the concerns of Cessna Aircraft.
