Air Traffic Summary July 23 Below is a summary of the July 23 Air Traffic Statistics Report, which contains passenger data for National and Dulles as well as cargo data for Dulles. This report also contains comparative BWI Airport and Airlines for America (A4A) U.S. industry enplanement statistics. U.S. industry average passenger enplanements as reported by the Airlines for America (A4A), Office of Economics: Enplanements July YTD.3%.% 4.6% 3.% System.%.3% National Current month activity vs. July 22 increased 2.4% and was driven by 2.4% growth in domestic traffic primarily due to new and expanded service by US Airways and other carriers. Details by carrier follow: US Airways (mainline and regional) Overall 2.5% passenger growth and additional daily departures New service to Wilmington (NC), Ft. Myers, and Myrtle Beach JetBlue - New service to San Juan Southwest - New service to St Louis Alaska - New service to Portland, OR Virgin America - New service to San Francisco

Passenger growth was partially offset by passenger decreases by Delta and other airlines: Delta (mainline and regional) -.3% reduction in passengers due to reduced seat capacity Frontier - Discontinued service to Milwaukee Spirit - Discontinued operations in October 22 United Airlines (mainline and regional) - 6.8% reduction in passengers passenger traffic growth of 4.3% was primarily driven by US Airways Express s service to Toronto and Montreal Dorval. US Airways mainline had the largest commercial passenger market share with 2.3%; activity increased 8.5% compared to July 22. Including its affiliates, US Airways s market share totaled 45.6% and activity increased 2.3% compared to July 22. Dulles Current month activity vs. July 22 decreased.% and was primarily driven by a 3.7% decline in domestic commercial traffic. Details by carrier follow: United (mainline and regional) 4.2% reduction in passengers New service to 5 destinations including Grand Rapids, Fayetteville, Ft. Lauderdale, Beckley, and Lewisburg was offset by discontinued service to Manchester, Pensacola, Clarksburg, and Allentown/Bethlehem. Delta (mainline and regional) 2.5% reduction in passengers Discontinued service to Cincinnati The decrease in traffic was partially offset by growth in other airlines: US Airways (Mainline and regional) 9.8% increase in passengers due to 3 additional daily departures to Charlotte Jet Blue 2.2% increase in passengers due to an additional daily departure to Boston

/ passenger traffic growth of 7.3% was primarily driven by the following new and expanded service: New service from United to Guatemala City; San Salvador; Vancouver; and San Jose, Costa Rica and expanded service to London and Punta Cana, offset by discontinued service to Moscow and reductions in service to Frankfurt and Aruba New service by Emirates to Dubai, UAE New service by Etihad to Abu Dhabi, UAE New service by Brussels Airlines to Brussels Expanded service by Aeroflot to Moscow Expanded service by British Airways to London Expanded service by Copa Airlines to Panama City Expanded service by Saudia Arabian Airlines to Jeddah Expanded service by Icelandair to Reykjavik / growth was partially offset by: Aer Lingus discontinued service to Madrid Cayman discontinued service to Grand Cayman Porter Airlines reduced service to Toronto United mainline had the largest commercial passenger market share with 42.%; activity increased.% compared to July 22. Including its regional affiliates, United s commercial market share totaled 64.9% and activity declined 2.4% from July 22. Total cargo (mail and freight) activity decreased 7.% compared to July 22. A 9.4% decrease in domestic cargo was partially offset by a.6% increase in international cargo due to new service to the Middle East by Emirates and Etihad, and Brussels Airlines. BWI Current month commercial passenger activity vs. July 22 decreased 2.6%. BWI s total commercial passengers totaled 2.2M and surpassed Dulles by 83.7K passengers (4.%) and National by 328.3K passengers (7.9%). Southwest had the largest passenger market share with 7.9%; activity decreased 4.5% compared to July 22.
