I. Airport, Seaport and Railway Infrastructures With the view to make Cameroon an emergent Country by 2035, the Government has aim to obtain modern infrastructures, in order to boost the economy. It is in this light that important infrastructure projects were considered in airports domain, with the realisation of a new airport in Douala as in the railway domain with the implementation of an important National railway Master Plan which is estimated at about CFAF 14 976,5 billion. In general the projects in this field concerned have an advantage for the public private partnership, which should be the privileged mode. 1. Construction of the Douala-Limbé Railway Project links the towns of Douala and Limbé, as well as the portuary zone (Base navale, SONARA) of 74 km long. It comprise of a double way plateforme with: Standard spacing 1,435 m; Passengers speed: 160km/h and cargo: 100km/h. Development of the transportation of hydrocarbons and cargo from Limbe deep seaport towards Tchad, Centre africa and within cameroon ; Extension of the national rail network. Tender files elaborated and send to Ministry of public contract for launching of feasibility studies The estimated cost of the project is about CFAF 340,97 billion. 2. Construction of Ngaoundéré-Ndjamena Railway The Project linking the towns of Ngaoundere in Cameroon and Ndjamena in Chad with a length of 683,7 km. It crosses the regions of Adamaoua, North and far north and iscomposed of a plate forme to double track: Standard spacing 1,435 m; Passengers speed : 160km/h and cargo : 100km/h. Opening up the northern part of Cameroon; Enable the extension of railway network to Chad; Allow the transit of goods from the ports of Kribi, Douala and Limbe to Chad. Railway Commission Cameroon-Chad created for follow-up of the feasibility studies and works; Institutional contract signature ongoing between Cameroon and Chad. 3. Construction of a New Airport in Douala It is a question of constructing a new airport in Douala in light of obsolescence of the currently existing and high cost of its rehabilitation. It is best to construct a new airport, rather than the high cost of Douala airport rehabilitation; This new airport will equally serve the towns of kribi, future large pole of economic development ; Return the airports of Cameroon gravitional so that the country is a true development pole ; Improve the quality of services and comfort of customers in the airports. The maturation of the project is in progress. The airport shall be built towards a zone between Douala and Dibamba Total cost of the project to be determined. 4. Construction of an International Airport in Kribi Project is situated in Kribi town. Reinforce national airport offer ; Reinforce economic fabric and touristic development of the town. MOU signed with the ANHUI Foreign Economic Group Construction. Total cost of the project to be determined. The estimated duration of implementation is to be determined. 5. Rehabilitation Project of the Douala International Airport It consists of the rehabilitation of the Douala international airport which represents about 95% of international exchange with Cameroon. This consist amongst others the capacity increase of terminal passengers, freight and landing tracts. MoU signed with China State Construction Engineering Company in April 2013 ; APS studies are on examination by the authorities (MINT, ADC, CCAA and MINT). 6. Project of Implementation of Mass Urban Transport System Project Summar This project is in the state political policy in development orientation maner of mass Urban transport system. It consist of supplying 800 autobus in major towns (Yaounde and Douala in the first place and the others town progressively and the construction of assembly unit in Bamenda. Participate in economic development of Cameroon ; Facilitate urbain mobility. MoU signed whith chinese YUTONG, world leader of the bus construction ; APS in cours of examination. 7. Project of Reinforcement of Aeronautic Road of the International Airport of Garoua Works consist of renovation of landing tracts, plane parking space, and accesses. Improvement of the level of services; Development of the national airport offers. Auscultation studies and job description available at ADC. Total cost of the project CFAF 8,45 billions. 8. Project of Reinforcement of Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport aeronautic Road Works consist of renovation of landing tracts, plane parking space, and accesses. Improvement of the level of services; Development of the national airport offers. Auscultation studies and job description available at ADC. Total cost of the project CFAF 7,55 billion. 9. Rehabilitation of Tiko Airport It is a matter of rehabilitation of the TIKO airport, abandoned for many years, at the point where the population has occupied the landing tract. Increase tenders for Airport infrastructures ; Contribute for the development of the South West region. 10. Construction of a Tramway in Douala Town It involves the construction of urban transport network circulating using electricity on the railway with 4 line and 25 stations. Improve urban transport in the town of Douala; Contribute for the development of the Littoral region. Studies ongoing. Project Status The estimated cost of the project is to be determined. The estimated duration of implementation is to be determined.

11. Construction of Tramway in Yaounde Town It involves the construction of urban transport network circulating using electricity on the railway with 3 lines and 38 stations and 98 km long. Improve urban transport in the town of Yaounde; Contribute for the development of the Center region. Feasibility studies already available ; MOU signed with PREFARAILS. The estimated cost of the project is about CFAF 701 billion. The estimated duration of implementation is to be determined.

12. Construction of the N Gaoundéré-Douala Railway The project involving the construction of a Railway linking NGaoundere to Douala.This shall cover Littoral and Adamawa regions. This railway is about 907,5 km de long. Disenclavement of agricultural and mining production basins ; Increase the Railway infrastructures offer. Increased supply in rail infrastructures. Feasibility studies available. The cost is estimated at CFAF 4 176 billions. The estimated duration of implementation is about 96 months.

13. Construction of a Edéa-Lolabe Railway The project involving the construction of a Railway linking Edea to Lolabe. This shall cover the Littoral and south regions. The railway will extend about 136 km in length. Opening up of agricultural and mining production areas ; Increase the Railway infrastructures offer; Facilitation of transport of persons and goods, including goods from the Kribi Deap Sea Port. Feasibility studies available. The cost is estimated at CFAF 468,71 billion. The estimated duration of implementation is 78 months.

14. Construction of Mbalam-Lolabe Railway The construction of a Railway project linking Mbalam to Lolabe couvers the south and East regions. It involves the construction of a 602,6 km railway between Mbalam and Lolabe. Opening up of agricultural and mining production areas ; Increase the Railway infrastructures offer. Feasibility studies available. The project is estimated at CFAF 3109,39 billion. The estimated duration of implementation is 80 months.

15. Construction of Douala-Wum Railway The construction of a railway linking Douala and Wum shall cover the Littoral and North West regions. The railway is about 350 km. Opening of agricultural and mining production areas ; Increase the Railway infrastructures offer. Preliminary studies conducted. The project is estimated at CFAF 1 610 billion. The estimated duration of implementation is 72 months. Public order: Priority to PPP.

16. Construction of Mbanga-Kumba Railway The construction of a railway linking Mbanga and Kumba shall cover the Littoral and South-west regions. The railway is about 21,3 km de long. Opening up of agricultural and mining production areas ; Facilitation of the transit of people and Goods; Increase the Railway infrastructures offer. Preliminary studies conducted. The total cost of the project is about CFAF 98 billion. The estimated duration of implementation is 36 months.

17. Construction of Bertoua-Bunde Railway The Construction of a Railway linking Bertoua and Bunde is will take place in the East region. The length of the railway is about 182,9 km. Opening up of agricultural and mining production basins ; Facilitation of the transit of people and Goods; Increase the Railway infrastructures network. Preliminairy studies are ongoing. Le coût total du projet est estimé à 841 milliards de FCFA. The total cost of the project is about CFAF 841 billion.

18. Construction of a Mora-Kidjirmatari Railway The Construction of a Railway linking mora and Kidjirmatari found in the far north region. The length of the railway is about 35,7 km. Opening up of agricultural and mining production areas ; Facilitation of the transit of people and Goods; Increase the Railway infrastructures network. Preliminary studies conducted. The cost of the project is about CFAF 165.6 billion. The estimated duration of implementation is 48 months. Public order: Priority to PPP.

19. Construction of a Bafoussam-Mbouda Railway The Construction of a Railway linking Bafoussam and Mbouda covering thewest region. The length of the railway is about 69, 3 km. Opening up to the outside world agricultural and mining production zones ; Facilitation of the transit of people and Goods; Increase the Railway infrastructures network. Preliminairy studies conducted. The cost of the project is about CFAF 318.7 billion. The estimated duration of implementation is 48 months. Public order: Priority to PPP.

20. Construction of a Bamenda-Jakiri Railway The Construction of a Railway linking Bamenda and Jakiri covers the North West region. The length of the railway is about 75,4 km. To open to the outside world agricultural and mining production areas ; Facilitation of the transit of people and Goods; Increase the Railway infrastructures network. Preliminairy studies conducted. The cost of the project is about CFAF 347 billion. The estimated duration of implementation is 48 months. Public order: Priority to PPP.

21. Construction of a Ngola-Bindom Railway The Construction of a Railway linking Ngola and Bindom in East region. The railway is about 119,6 km long. To open to the outside world agricultural and mining production areas ; Facilitation of the transit of people and Goods; Increase the Railway infrastructures network. Preliminairy studies available. The cost of the project is about CFAF 550 billion. The estimated duration of implementation is 60 months. Public order: Priority to PPP.

22. Construction of Navigable Waterway on Higher Nyong The project is situated in the Center and East regions. The itinerary permits the linking of Abong-mbang and Mbalmayo. It involves the development of 215 km long. Opening up of the region ; Diversification of transport means ; Contribute to the promotion du tourisme fluvial et lacustre ; To have a reference situation. Report of the study of development of the Exploitation Master Development Plan of island and waterway available. Estimated cost of feasibility studies is about CFAF 2 billion ; Total cost of the project is to be determined. 23. Rehabilitation of Garoua Seaport on the River Benoue The project is situated in North region, Benoue division; headquarter of Garoua, on a navigable tract of 80 km up to the Nigerian borders. Increase sea transport potential of the commercial du sector ; Register in the intergrated development programme network adapted to climatic change of the Niger basin; To have a reference situation ; Improve commercial transborder links. Elaboration report of the development of the master Plan and navigable tracts Exploitation available. Estimated cost of feasibility studies is about CFAF one billion ; Total cost of the project is to be determined.
