In addition, Canning Town underground station is a major transport hub, with millions of passengers a year benefitting from access to the London underground (Jubilee Line), DLR and extensive London bus network. Canning Town currently experiences 99% leakage of its principal shopping catchment spend, due to the lack of retail provision. Hallsville Quarter will provide the opportunity to recapture this retail spend. By 2017, it is forecast that Hallsville Quarter will have access to a Grocery market worth 83m and a Non-Grocery market worth 111m.
