Invitation Virginia Loggers Association s 14 th Annual Meeting on August 25-28, 2016! You are invited to join Virginia loggers and many friends of the forest products community and associated organizations at the Hotel Roanoke for its 14 th annual meeting. Please reserve your lodging by August 12 to receive your great group rate. We promise you ll have a great time and receive many benefits too. You will have lots of opportunities to network with others in our industry. Second, our fantastic speakers are anxious to share their knowledge with you. Third, you ll have the opportunity to meet our elected and appointed officials and learn firsthand the latest legislative news. Fourth, you and your family will have a great and relaxing time being at the Hotel Roanoke and in the Roanoke Valley! All presentations are eligible for continuing education credits for both the SHARP Logger program and the Society of American Foresters. On Saturday August 27 th, the Department of Forestry will offer two hours of Required SHARP Logger Update training from 1 to 3 pm only to meeting attendees. The other 1 hour of Required SHARP Logger Update training will be covered by Jimmie Locklear s presentation on Saturday morning. Sponsorship and exhibit opportunities are great ways to support the success of the 14 th annual meeting and show case your services and products.
