Day 1 : - LIMA, Peru Arrival at the airport, pick up and transfer to the hotel. Lima is the capital and the largest city of Peru. The city was founded in 1535 by the Spanish discoverer Francisco Pizarrounder and was named de los (City of Kings). a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Day 2 : - LIMA, Peru Today you will go on a half day city tour with your English speaking guide, you will also visit the Gold Museum of Lima. You will see the historic monuments of Lima the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the Government House, the Convent of San Francisco with beautiful cloisters and catacombs, used as a cemetery during the colonial era. Drive through the modern elite district of Lima Miraflores Central Park, San Isidro, Country Club and Golf Course. You will also visit the main shopping streets, such as Larco Avenue. The Gold Museum shows its collection of gold ornaments of the ancient cultures of Peru. The Museum also presents a magnificent collection of ancient weapons from around the world. Later you will be transferred to the hotel. Day 3 : - Cusco, Peru After your breakfast in the hotel you will be transferred to the airport with a driver for your flight to Cusco. A guide will collect you at the airport and you will have a City tour through Cusco including a visit to the "Koricancha" (Temple of the Sun). Day 4 : - Machu Picchu, Peru After enjoying your breakfast, a full day excursion to "Machu Picchu - Lost City of the Incas" is a 15th-century Inca site located 2,430m above sea level. In the afternoon you will have lunch. Return to Cusco by train &transfer to hotel. It is situated on a mountain ridge above the Sacred Valley which is 80 kilometers (50 mi) northwest of Cusco and through the Urubamba River flows. Machu Picchu was built for the Inca emperor Pachacuti (1438 1472). Day 5 : - Cusco - Puno, Peru In the morning you will have breakfast. After that you will be transported to the city of Puno with a group bus (with an English speaking guide). On the way there we will stop at: Andaguaililyas & Raqchi. You will have lunch in Sicuanitown. Next stop: La Raya (4400 meters above sea level) with a roadside market with beautiful mountains in the background ; and Pucara - center of the Inca culture. Later transfer to hotel accommodation in Puno Day 6 : - Puno - Uros Islands - Tiwanaku - La Paz, Bolivia Excursion with an English speaking group to the most high navigable lake in the world - Titicaca. A trip to the islands of Uros, the home of the Aymara. After the tour, there will be a transfer to the border of Bolivia, to the majestic ruins of Tiwanaku (Bolivia). After the tour there will be a departure to La Paz with a brief tour through the city and in the end a transfer to the hotel. La Paz was founded in 1548 under the name Cuidad de Nuestra Senora de La. Day 7 : - La Paz - Valley of the Moon, Bolivia - Santiago de Chile, Chile Breakfast, after that you will go on a tour with an English speaking guide to the de la (Valley of the Moon) which is situated about 10 kilometers from downtown La Paz. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport with an English speaking guide to board your flight to Santiago de Chile. In Santiago you will be picked up at the airport by an English speaking guide, transfer to the hotel. Then take a walk through the historic center and you will see the Plaza de Armas. Quick look at Presidential Palace of La Moneda, Cathedral & Central Post Office. Day 8 : - Santiago de Chile, Chile After your breakfast in the hotel you will go on a city tour through Santiago de Chile with an English speaking guide. You will have the chance to see: Santa Lucia Avenida La Moneda, the Cathedral, the Museum of pre- Columbian art, San Cristobal, the German Fountain, the museum of Pablo Neruda. Day 10 - Buenos Aires, Argentina Breakfast in the hotel Tour through Buenos Aires with an English speaking guide. You will see 9 Avenue Yulya, park in the Plaza de Mayo, the area of St. Martin, Congress Square, Avenue Corrientes, Mayo as well as the city's historic neighborhoods La Boca, San Telmo and Montserrat, elegant and prestigious areas of Palermo and Rozeleta. You will board your flight to Foz de Iguaçu Airport where an English speaking guide will wait for you to bring you to the hotel. The Iguaçu Falls, located on the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay are 275 huge water streams, falling from an incredible height. Its located in the national park with its unique flora and fauna, a result of a volcanic eruption and displacement of earth formations. Each of those 275 waterfalls have its own name ;the most powerful is called Throat which is a U-shaped, 82 meters high, 150 m wide and 700 m long. Day 12 - Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil After breakfast, you head to the Brazilian side of the fall. On the way to "Devil's Throat "you will see a lot of small waterfalls. You will see rainbows which arise on the billions of drops falling from the falls. For an additional fee you can do a trip through the jungle in the back of a jeep for about 3 kilometers, with a guide. Furthermore there will be a wonderful motor boat ride close to the waterfalls. Day 13 - Foz do Iguaçu - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the airport. Flight to Rio de Janeiro Airport, where a guide will be waiting for you. The second largest city of Brazil is certainly one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Besides the beach, you will find a lot of activities to do- golf, tennis, windsurfing, rafting, scuba diving, hang-gliding and more. Day 14 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Today you will go on a City tour, including a visit to Sugar Loaf with an English speaking guide. You will see: Praia Vermelha (Red Beach), Lemme, Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon and Flamingo, the Corcovado Mountain with the Statue of Christ, the impressive arrays of Tijuca Park, Guanabara Bay, the city center, the airport Santos Dumont, the bridge from the center to Niteroi and Niteroi itself,.
