150042196 On 09-25-15 at approximately 0346 hours, victim Garner was working as a store clerk for the Circle-K business located at 4950 US Highway 92, Lakeland. While victim Garner placing money from the cash register into the nightly drop, an unidentified black male wearing a bandana, hooded sweatshirt, a glove on his left hand, and dark colored pants entered the business armed with a dark colored semi-automatic handgun which he carried openly. As the suspect approached the cash register area, he pointed the handgun at the upper torso of victim Garner and began repeatedly demanding money. Victim Garner placed his hands in the air and then provided the suspect with all the money in one of the cash registers. The suspect then ordered victim Garner to give him the money from the remaining cash drawer, to which he complied. The suspect held victim Garner at gunpoint throughout the entire incident. The suspect then fled the business on foot toward US Highway 92 and victim Garner was able to summon law enforcement. PCSO K-9 Deputy Sheriff Dustin Kendrick (3828) responded and conducted a track from the area the suspect was last seen. Deputy Kendrick informed me his K-9 tracked to an area along the roadway of US Highway 92 behind the victim business, where Deputy Kendrick observed tire tracks that appeared to be new. I then received information from the PCSO Telecommunications Section that another armed robbery just occurred at the Circle-K business located at 1000 US Highway 92 in the city limits of Auburndale. Auburndale Police Department r Austin Leal (A365) responded to the scene and observed a dark colored Honda Civic with a temporary license plate flee from the rear of the business upon his arrival. r Leal attempted to catch the vehicle; however, lost sight of it in the area of Berkley Road. Approximately five minutes later, Sergeants Dennis Warren (2453) and Lyle Tripp (5736) observed a vehicle that matched the description r Leal provided. Sergeants Warren and Tripp conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the intersection of Gandy Road and Gandy Street, Auburndale. During the traffic stop, the identity of the driver was determined to be Ladarrius Noble (suspect). As the suspect exited the vehicle, Sergeants Warren and Tripp observed him to match the same physical and clothing descriptions as the suspect from the robberies. Sergeants Warren and Tripp detained the suspect in handcuffs. The suspect spontaneously stated, "I ain't going to lie, it was me. The gun is in the car, it is a B-B gun." The suspect later spontaneously stated, "I did not want to hurt anyone, it is a B-B gun." Sergeant Warren observed a large amount of cash on the passenger side floorboard of the vehicle and the butt of a handgun in plain view within the vehicle. Sergeant Tripp read the suspect his Miranda warnings via Miranda warning card. Deputy Sheriff Justin Hall (7404) transported victim Garner to the scene of the traffic stop and a show-up was conducted, resulting in the positive identification of the suspect by victim Garner. The vehicle was secured as a crime scene and towed to the PCSO Crime Scene warehouse in preparation for a search warrant. I received a copy of the store video surveillance footage from the store manager. The video surveillance footage corroborated the victim's account of events and was seized as evidence. I obtained sworn, recorded statements from the victim and witness. The witness was in the store freezer during the robbery and exited the freezer in time to see the suspect fleeing the business. The witness did not observe the incident. The amount of money stolen during the robbery is unconfirmed at this time; however, believed to be approximately $100.00. The suspect was transported to the Operation Center and was again advised of his Miranda warnings via Miranda warning card by Detective Danny Peters (7393). Detective Peters interviewed the suspect, who stated he was committing armed robberies to help his mother pay bills and help support his 12-year-old sister. The suspect confessed to this armed robbery, one armed business robbery in unincorporated Lake Wales (PCSO incident number 2015-42010), one attempted armed robbery of a business in the City of Winter Haven (Winter Haven Police Department incident number 2015-5683), and the armed business robbery in the City of Auburndale (Auburndale Police Department incident number 2015-1943). The armed robbery and attempted armed robbery within the city limits are being investigated by the respective law enforcement agencies. The suspect's clothing was seized as evidence. The suspect was transported to the Jail without incident. SWORN TO AND SUBSCRIBED BEFORE ME, THE UNDERSIGNED AUTHORITY, THIS 25 DAY OF September 2015 This affidavit was electronically signed

Detectives made contact with the victim, Katherine Chavez, H/F and obtained a sworn recorded interview. Chavez advised at 2245 hours she had just finished cleaning the counters when she was standing behind the cash register texting on her cell phone. Chavez stated she observed a subject walk into the store wearing a grey hoodie and pointed a gun at her. Chavez advised the suspect demanded she give him everything she has in the register. Chavez stated she opened the cash register and quickly pulled $2-300.00 in cash out and handed it to the suspect. Chavez stated the suspect ran out of the store towards Scenic Highway. Chavez stated the suspect was a younger black male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with black shorts, black bandanna and black gloves. Chavez stated she could tell it was a black male due to his nose and eyes being exposed above the bandanna. K-9 arrived on scene and completed a track which lead north from the incident location. During the track the K-9 discovered what appeared to be vehicle tracks in the grass next to an orange grove. Detectives observed surveillance cameras attached to the business and discovered video of the incident. Upon review of the video it was then observed an unknown subject approached the store on foot from the north. The suspect entered the store wearing a grey hoodie sweatshirt, black shorts, black & white bandanna, and black handgun. The suspect approached the counter and pointed a black handgun at the victim. The victim retrieved money from the cash register and handed it to the suspect. The suspect exited the store and ran north to Scenic Highway and disappeared into the darkness. At approximately 2324 hours, at the Murphy gas station located at 1174 Third Street SW. an armed black male suspect attempted to rob the cashier outside of the kiosk. The cashier was outside of the kiosk preparing to close the store when the suspect ran towards him from the north. The cashier was able to retreat back into the kiosk and lock the door behind him. The suspect was observed on video matching the same description as the suspect committing the armed robbery just prior. The Winter Haven Police Department Detectives responded and assumed the investigation as the incident occurred in their jurisdiction. See Winter Haven Police Department case number 15-5683. On 09/25/2015, Detectives were directed to respond to 4950 US Highway 92, Lakeland, to an armed robbery. It was learned an unknown black male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a bandana covering his face, armed with a black in color semi-automatic handgun entered the business and demanded money from the victim who was working as the store clerk. The suspect fled the scene on foot and no vehicle was observed. The suspect matched the description of two additional armed robberies that occurred in on 09-23-15.

150042010 K-9 along with the Aviation Unit responded to the scene. A track was conducted which lead to an area behind the store where it is believed the suspect got into a vehicle and fled in an unknown direction. While the K-9 track was being conducted, Sheriff dispatch advised the suspect fitting the same description committed another armed robbery at a business in Auburndale. Approximately 0401 hours, a 911 hang up / unconfirmed emergency was dispatched at the Circle K, located at US Hwy 92 and Berkley Rd, Auburndale, Florida. Auburndale Police r Leal #A365 advised dispatch a black 2 door Honda Civic with a temporary tag was seen leaving the area behind the incident location (Circle K). r Leal turned around in an attempt to locate the vehicle but he lost sight of it with a last known direction of travel northbound on Berkley Road, Auburndale. It was determined an armed robbery had just occurred and the suspect was a black male wearing gray hoodie jacket and black bandana with a black handgun matching the exact description as the suspect in the prior armed robbery. Sergeant Warren #2453 and Sergeant Tripp#5736 were responding to the area occupying the same marked patrol car. Sgt. Warren and Tripp were checking the Dairy Rd area for the suspect vehicle. As they approached the railroad tracks at Dairy Rd and Old Lake Alfred Rd, Sgt. Tripp observed a dark colored 2 door vehicle coming from the area of Lk Ariana on Old Lake Alfred Rd. The vehicle then made a right onto Stadium Dr. at which time they attempted to catch up to the vehicle. The vehicle turned left onto Bennett St and then left onto Gandy Rd. The vehicle turned right onto Gandy St and Sgt. Tripp observed the vehicle to be a black Honda Civic 2 door with a temp tag, BLZ2606. A felony traffic stop was initiated approximately 75 yards south of the intersection. The driver exited the vehicle with his hands in the air. Sgt. Tripp observed the suspect to be wearing a grey hoodie jacket and black pants with a white, black and red bandana tied around his neck. Sgt Warren and Sgt. Tripp ordered him to the ground and Sgt. Sheriff Detectives responded to Gandy Road and Gandy Street to assume the investigation. Deputy Sheriff Stutz #8037 transported the suspect to the Operations Center. Detective Ditty with the Winter Haven Police Department and Detective Anderson with the Auburndale Police Department arrived at the Operation Center to assist in the investigation. Contact was made with suspect, Ladarrius Ervin Noble by Det. Peters, Anderson, and Ditty. Det. Peters read the suspect his Miranda rights from a issued Miranda card.
