Air Atlanta Icelandic - company overview Air Atlanta was established on 10 February 1986. Since it foundations, the main focus has always been on delivering superior services and assisting its customers with their ever changing needs. The company is driven by highly competent personnel. Air Atlanta is IOSA operator and holds the EU- OPS and EASA PART 145 operators certificates issued by the Icelandic CAA to the standards of the pan- European Joint Aviation Authorities. Our Mission : To deliver value-added ACMI solutions to its worldwide customers whilst securing the profitability and growth of the organization. Service offering Air Atlanta is a charter and ACMI company based in Kopavogur, Iceland. Specialises in leasing aircraft on ACMI (Aircraft, Crews, Maintenance, and Insurance)/ wet lease basis to airlines worldwide needing extra passengers and cargo aircraft. The company has bases worldwide. They also provide charter flights and cargo solutions. Requirements First Officer B747: Part FCL ATPL or CPL ( ATPL theory completed ) Valid B747-400 type rating preferred Age over 21 years ICAO English Language level 4 or higher Valid Class 1 medical A minimum of 500 hours on Multi Crew Aircraft Last flight preferably within preceding 6 months Terms & Conditions Worldwide contract elaboration When flying under a worldwide contract with Air Atlanta specific terms and conditions apply. Instead of having fixed duty periods, as for example with a 4-2 roster, you will have the possibility to provide your own availability to Air Atlanta. If for example you choose to be available in the first 16 days of the month, you will not be planned for duty in the remaining 14 days of that month, unless you choose to sell your off days (on request of the company). After Air Atlanta received the availability of each crew member, they will start setting up a roster for four weeks in advance. When this will be issued, the first 2 weeks are confirmed, the latter 2 weeks are still under construction. It could happen that you will be planned to be in Jeddah, but that you are not scheduled for any flights. In that case, you will received your regular salary for that day as well. When flying on a so-known Worldwide contract, you can put in a request with Air Atlanta for a 3-2 or 4-2 contract. These will be issued upon availability. Salaries Monthly fee per worked calendar: First Officers will receive a payment from scale 1-11 to be determined by AAI in which scale, depending on experience and quality. Salary will be between $ 7,194 and $ 9,306 per 30 days a month. Fees will be issued on a daily base. For Captains also a payment scale 1-11 to be determined by AAI. Salary will be between $ 9,210 and $ 12, 240 per 30 days a month. These amounts are maximum amounts when working 30 days a month. Salary will be paid on a pro-rate basis. Fees will be issued on a daily base and mentioned amounts are before tax. Additional fees: Per Diem $USD 50 per day while on base/ duty. This means that the $USD 50 per diem fee will also be paid for standby days.
Accommodation Transport will be provided at base and lay-over stations. Return flights between country of domicile (nearest airport as accepted by the Airline) and base will be provided by the Airline for each rotation. Accommodation will be provided by Airline at lay-over station and base where the Airline has its aircraft. Type Rating B747-400 In case of NTR candidates being accepted by Air Atlanta, a type rating can be arranged by the company. The TR costs a total USD $23.000,00 and has to be paid either up front or in monthly arrears of USD 1.667,00, which will be deducted from the monthly payments. This arrangement is also known as the training-bond. During training, accommodation and travel arrangements are made by the airline, but the candidate will be charged for the hotel costs, from the first payment under the service agreement while in Linetraining. Additional Contract Conditions WORLDWIDE Roster: Home base - Worldwide Contract Accommodation - one year renewable. Notice period of 30 days for both sides. - The service provider shall be provided by the airline at lay-over station and base where the airline has its aircraft Roster Transportation Additional fees - Duty period starts on day of travel from domicile to base, after 30 days on duty a new duty period starts for another 30 days, this continues except if the service provider travels back from his/her domicile, then a new duty period starts with new arrival at base as above. - Return flights between country of domicile (nearest international airport as accepted by the airline) and base will be provided by the airline for each rotation. - Overtime will be paid at a rate of 39% of the basic daily fee, per hour for each block hour in excess of 65 hours per 30 days on duty period. Overtime is only payable for the 30 days duty period. No pro-rate calculation will be made for overtime and Simulator hours do not count towards block hours. - Per diem USD 50 per day while on base / on duty. - There will be a fee increase after continued full 12 months duty under this contract as follows: Twelve calendar months since the contractor s last increase or start date on this contract type, provided 300 fee paying days have been worked. If 300 fee paying days have not been worked in the twelve calendar months, then after 300 fee paying days have been completed.
