If no confirmation is received by 23:00 TAC may disregard the restriction and other staff may be permitted to work within the affected area. Contacting the signaller when passage of last train not witnessed When contacting the signaller, because it has not been possible to witness the passage of the last train, protection staff must state the line, station, platform number and if known, the number of the last train. Do NOT contact the signaller until after the published time for traction current to be switched off. Liverpool Street - Monitoring equipment At Liverpool Street station, on the Circle & Hammersmith and Metropolitan lines and 200m into tunnels towards Aldgate, automated survey monitoring equipment is installed, fixed to the tunnel and track to monitor movement during construction works above. All staff accessing the track should be aware that the tunnel lighting will be switched on & off during engineering hours from both Northern Lines between Old Street and Euston (City). Staff needing to access the track in this area (including platforms grounds) should ensure that they have made sufficient provision for lighting, torches, etc. to enable their works to proceed safely. Kennington Loop - raised TBTC loop cable In the Kennington Loop there are installed two areas of raised TBTC loop cable. The loop is raised on brackets for approximately 50m through both the southbound and northbound step-plate junctions. Please be mindful when crossing or accessing the track in these areas to avoid tripping. Please make every effort not to stand on the loop cable or brackets. Please make every effort not to drop items on, lean or store items next to the loop or brackets.
