CAMPUS SHUTTLE HPU offers four campus shuttle lines making continuous loops around campus throughout the day and evening for students convenience. A detailed shuttle time schedule is available at Campus Concierge locations and is also posted at the shuttle stops. Please see page 6 for instructions on how to track the campus shuttles. OUR CITY. AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE Airport Shuttle Fees: GSO $20 one-way RDU/CLT $40 one-way (Fee Guidelines listed at the bottom of this page) However... HPU Pride = Free Ride We will waive the airport shuttle fee when you wear your HPU gear and follow the guidelines stated below. When you wear HPU apparel, you help tell the world about the extraordinary education at High Point University. So, students who wear apparel with High Point University printed on it will receive complimentary airport shuttle service. We offer a comprehensive shuttle schedule as a convenience for our students. Shuttles travel to the Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO), Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), and Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) for scheduled breaks. Additionally, we provide Greensboro/High Point airport shuttle service every weekend while school is in session. In order to secure a reservation, students should follow these steps: 1. Complete your shuttle reservation at least 3 days in advance by going online to highpoint.edu/concierge (select the Transportation link). 2. Make sure you receive your confirmation email. 3. Provide a minimum of 24 hours notice for reservation cancellation. WEEKEND SERVICE GREENSBORO HIGH POINT AIRPORT The Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) is located 30 minutes from our campus. Shuttles will run each Friday at 2:00pm, 5:00pm, and 8:00pm. Shuttles will pick up outside the US Airways baggage claim at GSO on Sundays at 6:00pm, 9:00pm, and midnight. SHUTTLE GUIDELINES For the safety and security of our students, shuttle service is provided exclusively for HPU students. Please submit your itinerary 3 days in advance for complimentary shuttle service. Late add-ons, reservations cancelled without 24 hours notice and No-Shows will be charged (GSO $20 one-way, RDU/CLT $40 one-way). SECURITY ASSISTED PARKING Students may call 336-841-9112 (24 hours a day) for a security officer to meet them at their parked vehicle and transport them to their residence hall. ZIPCAR AT HPU Convenient. Affordable. Good for the environment. HPU has cars available on campus for students to use from Zipcar. Please visit the Zipcar link on our website for more information at zipcar.com/ highpoint. PRIVATE CAR & TAXI SERVICE The Campus Concierge is happy to recommend and arrange for private taxi and town car services for students. Discounted rates are available. For some services, students are able to pay using their HPU Passport Card. For more information on this service, please contact the Campus Concierge at 336-841-4636. HEALTH SERVICE Transportation for health-related needs, including trips to High Point doctors offices and pharmacies, are provided upon request. HOW TO TRACK ON-CAMPUS SHUTTLE Download the shuttle app today! 1. Please search for TransLoc in the app store and download the application. 2. Open the app, click the icon in the top right hand corner, click on transit systems and select High Point University. Please select either the Purple, Silver or Gold Line to track the on-campus shuttles. The Purple, Silver and Gold Line shuttles can only be tracked when they are running. 6
