Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 06/13/2016 2:12am 28000 Telegraph Rd. (Commercial- Gas Station) Rock was thrown through the front door glass. Officers were dispatched to (Gas Station) for a B&E Alarm. Dispatch advised there was an alarm trip on the cash register of the business. Officers arrived on scene and discovered good B&E. A rock was thrown through the front door glass and the cash register had been compromised. Unknown at this time how much money was taken from the cash register. 06/15/2016 5:26am 18000 W Ten Mile Rd. (Commercial- Beauty Mart) Attempt on large front double pane window. Officers responded to alarm at business at 5:26am. Officers arrived on scene and discovered good Attempt B&E on business. A large window in the front of business had its outer pane broken out. The inner pane was still intact and no entry was gained into the business. No suspect information at this time.

From: 06/14/2016 8:00pm To: 06/15/2016 9:00am 18000 W Ten Mile Rd. (Commercial- Beauty Supply) Front window was broken out by landscaping brick. Victim states sometime between 8:00pm and the following morning at 9:00am someone attempted to B&E business by throwing a brick through the front window. Entry wasn t made into business because of shelving that was blocking entry. Note: This incident most likely occurred around the same time (5:26am) that another Beauty Supply Business in the same vicinity was attempted. From: 06/15/2016 8:00pm To: 06/16/2016 9:00am (2- Incidents) 25000 Southfield Rd. (Commercial- Nails) 25000 Southfield Rd. (Unoccupied Business) Attempt B&E by throwing bricks at windows to both locations. Southfield Detectives responded to the 25000 Block of Southfield Rd to export surveillance camera footage. The footage shows 3 unknown B/F s throw bricks at the glass back door to the business at 5:15am. The glass was broken but did not give way. After multiple attempts to break into the business the 3 B/F suspects retrieved the bricks. The video shows three unknown B/F s then attempted to gain entry into a second business by throwing the bricks at its glass entry door.

06/19/2016 8:30am (2- Incidents) 28000 Northwestern (Commercial- Food) 28000 Northwestern (Commercial- Nails) Front door entry glass was broken out. Officers responded to location after neighboring business reported glass broken out at restaurant. Upon arrival Officers discovered the front glass entry doors of Restaurant and a Nail Salon where shattered. The entire complex had no power due to an area wide power failure. Further investigation revealed that an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from cash register at the Restaurant. It doesn t appear that anything was disturbed or missing from the Nail Salon. From: 06/18/2016 11:00pm To: 06/20/2016 6:00am 24000 Telegraph Rd. (Commercial- Building Materials) Rear door was forced open. Rock through display case. Reporting Party for business advises sometime between 11:00pm and the following morning at 6:00am, unknown suspect (s) forced entry through rear door of business. Home Invasion: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information From: 06/16/2016 1:00am To: 06/16/2016 1:10am 20000 Sherman Ave. Rear door wall glass was broken out. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> In this incident victim should have called 911 when she first heard someone breaking into her apartment! >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Victim states her ex-boyfriend broke into her residence at approx. 1:00am awakening her. The ex-boyfriend then attempted to gain entry into her bedroom but the door was locked. Ex-boyfriend then proceeded to flip over furniture. Victim exited her bedroom and confronted her ex-boyfriend and he punched her in the mouth. Victim attempted to call 911 but her ex-boyfriend took her phone and threw it on the ground damaging it. Ex-boyfriend then fled the residence. Ex-boyfriend has been identified and incident is under investigation. 06/17/2016 11:00am 20000 Westover Ave. Two locks on the rear security door were pried and cut off. Victim stated that he left the house around 11:00am and all the doors to the home were locked. Victim came home around 10:30 pm and came in through the front door which was locked. When he walked to the back of the house he observed the back entry door was open and the locks appeared to be cut off. No items in the home appeared to be taken including many valuables? The babysitter let him in thinking it was her. He went through some of victims belongings and then left the apartment. Victim returned home and discovered that her ex-boyfriend found her keys to her vehicle and took her vehicle. Larceny: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 06/13/2016 5:01am 23000 Providence Dr. (Residential- Apartments) Sound System including sub woofers and amplifier were taken from victims 1997 Chevy Tahoe. Officers were on patrol at Apartment Complex in the 23000 Block of Providence Dr. when they observed vehicle that had been attacked, to wit the vehicle's driver side tail gate window was broken, the driver's side rear window was broken, passenger side tail gate was pried open, and passenger side cargo area window was broken. The vehicle owner s sister was located and it was discovered that the vehicles sound system had been taken from the vehicle. The vehicle was attacked sometime between 12:00am- 4:30am. From: 06/13/2016 12:00pm To: 06/13/2016 1:00pm 20000 Lahser Rd (Residential- Apartments) Cell Phone was taken from victims 2006 Chevy Silverado. Victim stated property was stolen out of his work vehicle on Monday June 13, 2016 between 12:00pm & 1:00pm. Entry was gained by punching the driver door lock. No suspect information. From: 06/13/2016 10:30pm To: 06/14/2016 9:30am 25000 Grodan Dr. (Residential- Apartments) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2014 Lexus IS-250. Victim states sometime between 10:30pm and the following morning at 9:30am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from victims 2014 Lexus IS-250. No suspect information.

06/13/2016 7:04pm From: 06/14/2016 11:00pm To: 06/15/2016 7:30am 24000 Northwestern (Commercial- Gas Station) 28000 Northwestern (Hotel) Laptop & IPad were taken from 2004 Saturn Vue. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens should never leave anything of value in their vehicles interior and never leave your vehicle unlocked, unattended while at a Gas Station >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 3- Wheels & Tires were taken from victims 2012 Ford Explorer. Victim states while he was in the Speedway Gas Station someone gained entry into his unlocked vehicle and took a clip board containing Laptop & I Pad. Victim hadn t realized that the items were missing until a citizen found the clip board, located his information and called him. Victim states sometime between 11:00pm and the following morning at 7:30am someone took 3-Wheels & Tires from his 2012 Ford Explorer. Victim s vehicle was parked at Hotel in the 28000 Block of Northwestern Hwy. 06/16/2016 5:13am 27000 Northwestern (Hotel) Navigation System was taken from victims 2016 Chrysler Town & Country. Officers were on routine patrol in the 27000 Block of Northwestern Hwy. at approx. 5:00am when they came upon a White 2016 Chrysler Town and Country with the front driver side window broken out. Further investigation revealed that the Navigational System had been taken out of the vehicle.

From: 06/17/2016 9:20pm To: 06/17/2016 9:35pm 27000 Franklin Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Handgun was stolen from victim s vehicle. Victim states on Friday June 17, 2016@ 9:30pm she parked her vehicle at the location near a group of men. She left her vehicle unlocked with her gun under the driver seat. Be on the Look Out Highlights: Special Attention: PPO Violation/ Resisting Arrest (Warrant Obtained) 06/13/2016 6:29am 28000 Block of Franklin Rd Officers were dispatched to the location on a report of a Personal Protection Order Violation. Officers made contact with the Reporting Party (R/P) who stated her boyfriend was at her apartment. It was confirmed he had a valid PPO for a prior Domestic Assault that occurred in the City of Southfield. Suspect was currently in her apartment. Officers made contact with suspect as he answered the door. Officers advised suspect he was in Violation of a PPO order and attempted to take him into custody. The suspect resisted Officers and jumped from the 2nd floor balcony and fled from Officers. Officers searched the area but couldn t locate the suspect. The suspect is on Probation for Domestic Assault involving same R/P from an earlier incident in Southfield. There was also a No Contact Order placed on the suspect by the court. In that incident suspect resisted Officers as well. Suspect has been identified and a Warrant for suspect has been obtained. Arrests by SPD Officers: Fleeing & Eluding/ Resisting & Obstructing- 1- Arrest 06/14/2016 7:45pm W Nine Mile Rd. & Evergreen Rd. Officers were dispatched to a traffic altercation. Citizen reported that she was followed home by subject on a moped. When she pulled into her driveway on Mahon St. the subject stopped and shouted obscenities at her while reaching down for something. Victim was scared and left the location while contacting 911 heading to the police station. Southfield Officer located the moped S/B Evergreen and Nine Mile at the red light. Officer activated his lights and siren and the moped failed to stop. The moped was pursued to Lahser road where the suspect slowed for the red light. With assistance from other Officers the moped was boxed in and stopped. The operator of the moped resisted Officers when they attempted to take him into custody. The suspect was arrested for Fleeing & Eluding/ Resisting & Obstructing.

Special Attention: Numerous Commercial Smash & Grabs This Past Week. Mostly Nail & Beauty Salons, Taking Money From Cash Registers. Locations: OWI- 1- Arrest Evergreen and Civic Center Officer was dispatched to the South Round About on Evergreen Rd where a vehicle had driven through it (not around it). The driver of the vehicle had signs of intoxication and an OWI investigation was conducted. The driver was arrested and lodged for OWI. 1-18000 Block of W Ten Mile Rd. (Commercial- Beauty Mart) 5:26am 2-18000 Block of W Ten Mile Rd. (Commercial- Beauty Supply) 5:26am 3-25000 Block of Southfield Rd. (Commercial- Nails) 5:15am 4-28000 Block of Northwestern (Commercial- Nails) Discovered in morning @ 8:30am 5-28000 Block of Telegraph Rd. (Commercial- Gas Station) Officers responded to Alarm @ 2:12am 6-25000 Block of Southfield Rd. (Unoccupied Business) 7-28000 Block of Northwestern (Commercial- Food) Discovered in morning @ 8:30am 5:15am DWLS/ Possession of Marijuana - 1- Arrest 27000 Block of Northwestern 12:00pm (Hotel) Victim met suspect in the hallway lobby of the Hotel. According to victim, they went up to the room to smoke marijuana. Victim went into the bathroom and upon exiting she observed the suspect taking cash out of her purse. Suspect ran from the room with an undisclosed amount of money, entered his vehicle and fled the scene. Southfield Officers located the suspect vehicle S/B Telegraph and affected a traffic stop on the vehicle. Suspect was taken into custody. It was later learned that the victim was a prostitute and most likely fabricated the story of the Larceny. The suspect was still charged with the DWLS & Possession of Marijuana.
