Invitation and programme ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2013 30 September - 1 October Mainz, Germany From Gutenberg to digital changes in the world of communication
Welcome to Mainz! Mainz, the city of Johannes Gutenberg, inventor of printing, is a perfect location for our Annual Conference 2013. Publishing is undergoing changes as radical as those introduced by Gutenberg, and these are having significant consequences for the printing industry. New solutions are needed to bring our industry to a more stable ground. José María Camacho ERA President CEO Circle Printers In this time of structural change in our industry, the ERA Annual Conference provides an important opportunity for key players to get an update on trends and tendencies. Our conference programme includes speakers from the publishing, paper and printing industries. Presentations will compare opportunities for publication printing and the use of new techniques such as augmented reality, and the latest news on chromium trioxide authorisation, and potential alternatives, will also be presented. And the Chief Economist of the German Bundesbank will discuss the continuing euro crisis. As always, the ERA Annual Conference provides opportunities for networking with business associates and meeting colleagues during the dinner, coffee breaks and lunch.
