INVEST SA - PROGRAM PROGRAM THEMES This year Invest SA will focus on tourism, trade, exports, the state s relationship with Asia and the property sector s central role in ensuring South Australia remains an attractive investment destination. Invited speakers will include hotel operators and developers, seafood producers and exporters as well as technology experts who understand how innovative products shape the way we do business now and into the future. These themes will focus on growing the property sector and state productivity. SITE TOURS Given that Invest SA will take place in Port Lincoln, there is a great opportunity to explore the area s facilities and learn about the work that goes into producing some of the world s best seafood. These site tours will enhance your visitor and delegate experience. After lunch on Monday 22 May, delegates will visit key Port Lincoln sites including seafood processors, oyster farms and more. There will be an opportunity to hear from the people responsible for ensuring our exports are of worldclass quality while also gaining insights as how technology is transforming the industry. Greg has a passion for innovation and the constructive evolution of our industry. He has had a varied career from creating artificial diamonds, to architecting the launch of Virgin Mobile in South Africa, to building a biometric facial recognition system for Transport QLD. SUNDAY TOUR EXPERIENCES (OPTIONAL) FISHING CHARTER $300 PER PERSON The waters of Pt Lincoln provide some of the best game fishing in South Australia. Giant Yellowtail Kingfish and Southern Bluefin Tuna make for memorable fishing action. The fish rich waters and spectacular scenery of southern Eyre Peninsula and the West coast also allow anglers to target a selection of Blue Groper, Snapper, Nannygai, Blue Morwong and of course, South Australia s famous King George Whiting. Inclusions: Transfers to/from Pt Lincoln Hotel; Light refreshments, meals, bait and tackle whilst on board. Notes: A minimum of 6 delegates are needed for this tour to take place. Delegates interested in taking part are asked to notify the Property Council when registering. Delegates will then be notified and invoiced for the charter when the minimum numbers are reached. Delegates will need to be in Pt Lincoln by 10am on Sunday 21 May. WINE TOUR $120 PER PERSON A fantastic day exploring the Pt Lincoln wine region including: Transfers to/from Pt Lincoln Hotel; Visits to 4 different vineyards with a glass of wine and structured tastings at each winery; An opportunity to meet the grower and wine maker at each location; Buffet lunch and gourmet platters of regional produce throughout the tour. Accommodation payment and cancellation policy Accommodation payment will be forwarded directly to the accommodation venue. Full payment will be charged on confirmation of accommodation bookings. Cancellation fees apply subject to the terms and conditions of the accommodation venues. Accommodation bookings at the Port Lincoln Hotel that are cancelled within 30 days of the event will incur full cancellation charges; prior to 30 days will incur charges at the discretion of the hotel and conference organisers. Cancellation policy All cancellations must be requested in writing however no refunds will be given to cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event. Cancellations received within 15 30 days of the event will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without penalty. Terms and conditions Registrations are for individual delegates only and cannot be split or shared between multiple people.
