Guernsey Guernsey is situated approximately 70 miles off the south coast of England and only 20 miles west of the French coast which can easily be seen on a clear day. It is the second largest of the Channel Islands with the neighbouring islands of Alderney, Herm, Sark and Jersey all being within 3 and 15 miles away. The island boasts stunning cliffs, idyllic coves, small harbours, long sandy beaches and a daily sunshine average of almost 7 1 2 hours from May through to September. Communications with Guernsey are fast and efficient with a good number of daily flights to many UK airports with London under an hour away. In addition there are also flights to a number of European destinations via Jersey. Fast ferries run to the island from Weymouth, Poole and St Malo and a conventional ferry runs from Portsmouth. There are regular flights to Jersey taking approximately 15 minutes. Le Clos au Comte Le Clos au Comte is a classic Guernsey farmhouse dating back to 1591. In 1968, the farmhouse was reconstructed and extended into a more substantial house. Further modernisation took place in the 1990s followed by the ongoing programme of maintenance and upgrading by the current owners. The renovated house has a number of character features including a panelled dining room, wood flooring throughout, wood burning stoves and open fire places, French doors and windows.

Accommodation The accommodation is flexible and is designed to suit the current owners.
