DAY 2 BELGRADE CITY TOUR After breakfast we will proceed for a panoramic city tour of the Serbian capital. Our guided tour will help you discover that Belgrade has it all: a charming mix of old and new that is reflected in its medieval and modern architecture, its historical monuments and cosmopolitan culture. Belgrade features one of the oldest and, in the same time, one of the most fast growing cities of Europe. History is interwined with modern life throughout the city. We will explore both the bustling modern part of Belgrade as well as its main historical spots, including the Belgrade Fortress and the remains of Singidunum, the ancient city of Belgrade that was founded in the 3rd century B.C. During our bus tour we will also have the opportunity to admire the Old and New parliament, the Kalemegdan Park, the Republic Square, the National Theatre, the National Museum, the Kneza Miihailova Street, the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral that dates back to 1837 and the Monument to Nikola Tesla. Republic square National museum In the evening we suggest you to visit Skadarlija, the old bohemian district of Belgrade. Skadarlija is a remarkable tourist attraction which amazes and amuses visitors from all over the world. In Skadarlija you will find some of the most well-known traditional taverns, fashionable café-bars and hotels (e.g. Le Petit Piaf) of the city, as well as plenty of art galleries, antique and souvenir shops. After breakfast we will depart to Sarajevo. Upon arrival we will proceed for a panoramic city tour of Sarajevo. The tour will take you to the main sights of the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian architecture, including the City Hall Vijecnica, the Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque & Medrese, the Sacred Heart Cathedral, the Bazaar, the Sebil, the Bascarsi Mosque and the Eternal Flame. The Bran Castle is near Bran and in the vicinity of Bras ov. It is monument and landmark of Romania. The fortress is located on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. Commonly known as Dracula's Castle, it is the home of the title character in Bram Stoker's film Dracula. The castle is nowadays a museum open to tourists, displaying art and furniture items collected by Queen Marie. At the bottom of
the hill there is a small open-air museum park exhibiting traditional Romanian peasant crafts from across the country. Nature has been generous with this area that is surrounded by the imposing silhouettes of the massifs Bucegi and Piatra Craiului.
