Our Anchor Forge was home to Charlie s Yard in the BBC s 1920s gangster drama Peaky Blinders See sparks fly as our chain maker forges a link of chain Visit our Anchor Forge; set in the 1920s it preserves the equipment from the last anchor forge to operate in the Black Country Step inside our full scale working replica of Thomas Newcomen s 1712 steam engine, the first successful steam engine in the world!
