Detail program 14 th April Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m) As you land at the Kathmandu airport, you will be received by our representative and then transferred to Hotel Yak & Yeti located in the heart of Kathmandu. A short briefing session will be held in the hotel for your last minute queries on the trek that will be answered your Trek leader. You may spend the afternoon for shopping or relaxed in the hotel. by Accommodation: Hotel Yak & Yeti, Kathmandu Hotel Yak & Yeti Kathmandu is a 5 star luxury hotel in the heart of Kathmandu 15 th April Day 2: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m). Trek to Phakding (2600m) The journey to the Everest begins with a short flight to Lukla. You will be greeted by the beautiful snowcapped mountains and towering peaks while flying to Lukla. Upon arrival at Lukla, you will meet our team of Sherpa Guide and Porters who will be in your support for next 10 days of Everest Trek. Before beginning the trek, we stop shortly at the beautiful yeti mountain home lodge at Lukla for a quick tea break. Your bag packs will be sorted out. A quick stretching and we are ready to hit the trail heading to Phakding. The trek today goes to the village Phakding with small downhill walk along the Dudhkoshi river. Our lunch stop will be at the next lodge of Yeti Mountain Home at Phakding where we spent rest of the afternoon. Ascend: 400 m Descend: 630 m Distance: 10 km Time: 3 4 hours Accommodation: Yeti Mountain Home in Phakding Phakding lodge at 2,610m its in a very tranquil spot on the banks of the river DudhKoshi, with dramatic pine forested cliff faces on the opposite river bank. Enjoy the views from the pretty sunroom and later you can relax around the warmth of the fire.
16 th April Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m) Today the trek goes further through the pine forests and suspension bridge over the Dudhkoshi River. You will cross and re-cross the river several times. Arriving to Monjo (3000 m), you will have a rest and lunch at Yeti Mountain Home, after this you will enter to The Sagarmantha National Park. From here the road continues with a strong rise before making the final steep climb to lead you to Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar, a vibrant town situated at elevated altitude on the traditional trading route from Tibet. Ascend: 1150 m Distance: 10 km Descend: 400 m Time: 6 hours Accommodation: Yeti Mountain Home in NamcheBazzar Perched on the upper slopes of the bustling Sherpa capital, YMH Namche is breathtaking literally! Voted best YMH of 2011. 17 th April Day 4: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar (3450m) This day at Namche Bazaar will be a rest day with an opportunity to explore around the Khumjung village and the market of Namche Bazaar. Hiking shortly above the Namche lies Khumjung and Khunde, a beautiful Sherpa village where you can visit the Hillary school and a hospital. A beautiful vantage point that gives the view of Everest on a clear day may be the highlight of the hike. Hiking up and sleeping low will acclimatize the body well. Afternoon you may rest in Lodge and pamper yourself with massage. Namche is a tourist hub and for the locals too. 18 th April Day 5: Trek to Deboche (3820m) From Namche Bazaar onwards the trek goes higher with superb views of the surrounding mountains all along the way. The trail today is spectacular in terms of scenery. In route we will pass through Tengboche, one of the most famous and beautiful monastery of Everest Region and one of Nepal s finest monasteries. We will stop for a short and needed break enjoying the beautiful views of Everest, AmaDablam, Lhotse and we will have a chance to look around the monastery. Tengboche is a popular place to overnight, however water is scarce here and the lodges are often crowded we will continue for a further 20 minutes Deboche, a more peaceful location away from the main village of Tengboche. Ascend: 985m Distance: 11 km Descend: 700m Time: 6 hours Accommodation: Local lodge A traditional Nepali guest house, the most popular form of accommodation during the trekking, which allows you to taste the delicious and healthy meals prepared by the locals. A great way to connect with local culture!! 19 th April Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4410m) The trekking path goes further towards the village of Dingboche along the bank of river Imja. After 3 hours trekking you will reach to the village of Pangboche, where there is the oldest monastery in the Khumbu. From here the trek continues for a further 3 hours walking gaining altitude very gradually to Dingboche. Today you enjoy the amazing views of AmaDablam, one of the most beautiful mountains the world. in Ascend: 870 m Distance: 12 km Descend: 420 m Time: 6 hours

A great way to connect with local culture!! 20 th April Day 7: Acclimatization day in Dingboche (4410m) By this day you have already crossed the elevation of 4400 meters. will be more necessary to acclimatize the body in high altitude gained. So, this day we will dedicate as a rest day to acclimatize. This day you can take a hike to Nagarjun hill which is around 5100 meters that will give a good acclimatization. Hike high and sleep low works best to get acclimatized. In the afternoon, rest at the lodge and enjoy the scenic and close mountains all around you. It Ascend: 500 m Time: 4 hours Descend: 500 m Accommodation: Local lodge A traditional Nepali guest house, the most popular form of accommodation during the trekking, which allows you to taste the delicious and healthy meals prepared by the locals. A great way to connect with local culture!! 21 st April Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4910m) The trek goes further north today towards the Lobuche. We will move ahead towards Dughla after our morning breakfast. At Dughla we will stop for a lunch and after good rest we carry on towards Lobuche. Shortly thereafter, we reach the memorial to those Sherpas who have died on Mount Everest. Here, the trail starts to level out, following the lateral moraine on the west side of the Khumbu Glacier to Lobuche (4910m) opposite the towering pyramids of Nuptse and Lhotse. Ascend: 640 m Time: 6 hours Distance: 8 km

A great way to connect with local culture!! 22 nd April Day 9: Trek to Gorakshep (5140m) and Everest Base Camp (5364m). Back to Gorakshep The big day of our trek is today when we get finally to Everest Base camp at 5364m. The hiking goes with little ups and downs through Gorakshep and overlooking Khumbu glacier. From the base camp you can view the Khumbu icefall and glacier. After spending some time in Everest Base Camp, we will get back to Gorakshep. Ascend: 470 m Descend: 245 m Distance: 12 km Time: 8 hours Accommodation: Local lodge A traditional Nepali guest house, the most popular form of accommodation during the trekking, which allows you to taste the delicious and healthy meals prepared by the locals. A great way to connect with local culture!! 23 rd April Day 10: Helicopter flight from Gorakshep to Lukla and later flight to Kathmandu Today early morning after your breakfast you will fly back to Lukla on helicopter and after a short stop take a small flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu (time depends entirely on the weather condition) you will be transferred to the hotel. Today you will have a free day for resting at the hotel or shopping around Thamel. In the evening a farewell dinner is organized to celebrate the successful completion of the trek with the group. 24 th April Day 11: Free day in Kathmandu or Half day Sightseeing This day will be used as a free day in Kathmandu. You may spend half day sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley or relaxed day with Spa or massage in the hotel. In case of bad weather on day 10 we will fly to Kathmandu today. This day can be used as a reserve day as Lukla flights often gets delayed or cancelled due to weather. The half day guided sightseeing tour could be the heritage sights of the Kathmandu Valley such as the Hindu Temple of Lord Shiva in Pashupatinath and Boudhanath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal. Extensions and extra days You may like to extend your stay in Nepal at either end of the trip. If you have flights that arrive late evening, you may like to add on an extra day at the start of the trip to rest up and work through any jet lag. It s also a good time to do any extra shopping for trekking clothing or equipment. Nepal offers many wonderful sights and activities besides trekking: you may wish to spend some time with yoga practice at a Buddhist monastery center in the Kathmandu valley; jungle safaris in the Chitwan National Park where we have a spa resort, Kasara; lakeside walks, paragliding and mountain biking around the peaceful resort of Pokhara; rafting and bunjee jumping at The Last Resort a few hours from the capital something for everyone.
