OVERNIGHT: WELLINGTON The illustration show a cheese platter, although other winemaker's platters will be served, offering a selection from pastrami, smoked chicken, local olive oil, our own dried tomatoes and home-made hummus, dukha, chutney and jellies. Our facilities at the Hood Aerodrome, Masterton are capable of every aspect of aircraft and engine construction imaginable. Our most valuable resource is our skilled craftsmen - specialized woodworkers, welders and machinists, and people experienced in the complexities of fabric covered aircraft. This is the first time since WW1 that these aircraft are being produced in a factory setting, although we utilise the most modern CNC and CAD technology to increase accuracy and reduce labour costs. Working relationships with other restoration facilities and museums in Europe, Australia, Canada and in the USA assists TVAL in sourcing information as well as technical data and original parts for duplication and reproduction. The Vintage Aviator Ltd. works to New Zealand Civil Aviation Administration standards aircraft manufacturing. This creative manufacturing scheme is a first for New Zealand and the world. Our approved process and procedures manual dictates how we accomplish each task and our inspection process ensures that the highest standards and utmost accuracy are achieved.

Day 3 Thursday April 02 WELLINGTON - BLENHEIM This morning we join the Interislander ferry service to the South Island and the Gourmet Province of Marlborough. OVERNIGHT: BLENHEIM Called one of the most spectacular ferry rides in the world. We re sure you ll agree. Cross Cook Strait and truly experience our two beautiful islands. The 92 km, three hour journey between Wellington and Picton is one of New Zealand's most iconic tourist experiences, and acknowledged as one of the most spectacular cruises in the world

All rooms have high wooden ceilings so that you have the feeling of spacious comfort that make you feel relaxed after your day. The sizes of each of our beautifully appointed rooms vary, from executive suites with personal spa baths, to intimate doubles for that romantic getaway, or large family suites. The comfortable furnishings include leather sofas and chairs woven from water hyacinth reeds, reflecting the Pacific theme of the hotel, and the view from the windows, through the wooden Venetian blinds, is of the peaceful and lush semitropical courtyard. All the rooms have the convenience of personal en suites, a work desk and Internet access.
