ACHIEVEMENTS - DIVESTMENT OF ASSETS Forum Hotel- On the divestment agenda since 1991 now divested to a private sector group as a residential and commercial complex. Oceana Hotel- Divested to private sector interests for refurbishing as a hotel and business complex to bring back economic activity to downtown Kingston. Machado Complex- Divested to Heart Trust to develop a downtown Kingston education and training complex to develop new skills of our people Jamintel Building- Divested to Ministry of Transport & Works to satisfy their need for space for offices and to move major public sector operation back downtown to drive economic development. Lot 21 Downtown Kingston- Sold to Grace Kennedy to develop a Commercial Centre and Parking Facility in downtown Kingston.
