Enjoy an Adventure Princesses weekend at the beautiful Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center (IROEC)! Hosted by the Penguins Special Guests As is tradition, Princess Grandfathers and Uncles are invited to join us for the entire weekend or any portion they wish. Please also take this opportunity to invite Dads and Daughters interested in the Princess program to give it a test drive. They are welcome to hang out with us Saturday, one night or the entire weekend. Please ask your Chief regarding sign-ups for our special guests. Pricing and Registration 2 Options - Tent or Bunkhouse o Tenting: $70 per FAMILY (Limited to 80 Families) @ Kennedy Meadows o Bunkhouse: $45 per PERSON (Limited to 38 People) @ Astronomy Bunkhouse-303 NO Bunkhouses due to flooding Rain or shine. Details Items to bring: Clothing for warm days and cool evenings, tent, sleeping bag, pillow, cooking equipment, toiletries, water bottle, meds, first-aid, bug spray, sunglasses, flashlight, chairs, daypack, and potential rain gear. o Water Bottles: Bring your own bottle for water to support our sustainability efforts at the facility. Water is provided at the recreation program areas. o ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR STURDY, CLOSED-TOE SHOES AT ALL TIMES (no sandals, crocs, slippers or flip flips, etc.) Comfortable attire is recommended. Lodging and meals: Tent camping on grassy Kennedy Meadow East and West. Tribes are responsible for their own meals. The campsite has a large, shared covered dining area with picnic benches. o Bring your own propane fire pits. o NO WOOD/CHARCOAL: Wood or charcoal is not permitted at the camp. Please bring propane grills or camp stoves to prepare meals. The campfire pits are propane and are not for cooking. Facilities: Great restrooms and shower facilities complements of the Boy Scouts of America o The Learning Center rooms will be available for the girls to play games and stay dry in case of rain. Bring board games etc Policy: IROEC has a zero-tolerance alcohol policy. Families will be sent home early for violations. Directions IRVINE REGIONAL PARK: Entrance into Irvine Regional Park, with the gate code, is permitted from 6:00am to 6:00pm. If anyone needs to enter the facility between 6 to 9:30 PM please notify the Guest Services. Their number is: (714)478-9682. Guests can exit the facility at any time. IROEC is located inside Irvine Regional Park. 2 Irvine Park Road, Orange 92869 At the Park gate, inform the attendant you are going to the Outdoor Education Center or use Gate Code: #0326. The gate code allows only one car at a time. Press the (#) sign first and then enter your code. From the gate, take the first left and follow the road past the second "horse crossing" sign until you come to the first paved road on your left. Turn left and head up the hill. After passing through the gate pictured above, take the first left and then left again. Follow the road clockwise a short distance and arrive at the camp site.

DAUGHTERS DONATE SCAVENGER HUNT Today, each tribe will be building kits for the Orange County Rescue Mission. Your objective is to make 1 kit per girl. The kits will be donated to help young girls in need and lift their spirits. Your chief will provide you 1 Ziploc bag per girl to be used for the kits. First, you will need to find the 8 items scattered throughout the camp site (only search in the general area we are camping). When you find an item, please only take the supplies needed for your tribe. The eight items are: 1. Toothbrush 2. Toothpaste 3. Shampoo 4. Conditioner 5. Hairbrush 6. Soaps (2 per kits) 7. Nail clipper 8. Nail polish Before you finish, make sure you have 1 kit per girl and that all items are in each kit. Work as a team and have fun! Ready, Set, Go!
