The village borders the pristine world heritage site known as the isimangaliso Wetland Park. The park is South Africa's third-largest protected area, spanning 280 km of coastline and is home to a magni cent diversity of marine life. Sodwana Bay is a short drive from the Big 5 umkhuze Game Reserve which you can visit on your days off.

A FAQ s Who is Eligible? - Over 18 s, in good health with an af nity for the ocean. Must I have a scuba quali cation? - No, the ocean practicals are all snorkel based (bubbles scare sharks!). What is the accommodation like? - You own single cabin room, self catering, linen supplied and serviced daily. How do I get from the airport? - We can arrange a pickup ($150) or you can hire a car ($25 per day). What's available in Sodwana Bay? - Cash ATM's, Restaurants, Grocery Shop, Free Wi, Laundry Service, Dive Shop.
