Tips for Mina and Arafaat Toilet/shower facilities Throw some or spray some Detol on ground and open small tap on ground to wash the floor be very careful of handling the hose on ground as little accidents may have happened and the hose may not be that clean. Use shower above to ensure your personal cleanliness. Take a bottle of water which is always available on Mina and Arafaat, use this instead of toilet hose when you need to use toilet for hygienic reasons and to protect especially Hadjas from infections The showers and toilets are generally all in one take waterproof bag with you or two carrier bags when you go to toilets. In one bag you can place your clean clothes and toiletries and the other that which you take off trust me you will feel very refreshed taking many showers due to the heat. Try to use bathroom well before times of Salaah as it gets really full. Try not using sitting toilets in Mina on Arafaat and Muzdalifah the toilets with holes are much more hygienic. From these tips and from what you may have heard many fears the toilets as it is not what we generally accustomed to but truly it was not as bad as people say it is this is all part of our tests and Alghamdoelilaah as long as you approach everything you encounter with the right spirit. 5 P a g e
