To work out the size of a bag you should calculate the cubic volume of the bag intended to transport: To calculate the volume using length x width x height: e.g.: 1.88m x.6m x.6m =.6768 which is approx 67 litres. UNIFORM Cuboree Pack Shirt, Woggle & Scarf Cub Scouts attending Cuboree will receive a Cuboree Pack approximately four (4) weeks prior to Cuboree commencing. The pack will include a Cuboree Shirt, Cuboree Hat, Cuboree Scarf, Cuboree Woggle, Cuboree Event Badge and a set of Cuboree Camp Badges. Cub Scouts will be required to wear their Cuboree Shirt to and from Cuboree. The Woggle and Scarf are optional to and from the event, but must be packed for the event as they will be required to wear these during Cuboree to assist with identification. Cub Scout Uniform Cub Scouts will not be required to wear or bring their normal Cub Scout Uniform to and from Cuboree. BEDDING Mattresses With all Cub Scouts travelling by bus to the event, there will be restrictions on the size of bedding to ensure luggage can be accommodated. Additionally, come bedding setups can cause damage to the tent floors and walls. PACKING TIPS It is recommended that to assist in packing and helping Cub Scouts get ready for the day, to pack each days clothing in a separate zip lock bag. This will assist in getting ready for showers and not having to lose clothing as they can put the dirty clothes back in the bag at days end or after showering and changing. Please ensure all clothing, bedding, and loose items are labelled to assist in returning lost property. Any unclaimed items at the end of Cuboree will be donated to a charitable organisation. DAY PACK (TO CUBOREE) Please provide your Cub Scout with a Day Pack for the journey to Cuboree. Food stops will NOT be provided along the way, but we do recognise that some Cub Scouts may require snacks or have conditions that require special diets, so we suggest packing a water bottle and any extra items, other than the banned items on the list below, for the journey. 3 P age
