Page 2 For info call 920-232-1960 Email: WINNEBAGO COUNTY COMMUNITY PARK Shelter reservations begin on the first business day of the New Year at 8:00 a.m. at the Parks Office, 625 E. Cty. Rd. Y #500. Oshkosh. Reservations are first come first served payable via cash or check. We cannot accept credit or debit cards though an ATM is available. This park s abundance of open space and easy access are among its greatest assets. The 270-acre site is located in the far northern section of the City of Oshkosh between County Road Y and Snell Road, and County Road A and Highway 76. Facilities include four shelters with playground equipment and support amenities, and a large private pavilion, which can be reserved, two lighted ball diamonds, an 18 field soccer complex, an archery range, rugby fields, 36 hole disc golf course, two picnic shelters, which can be reserved and three fishing lakes. Winnebago County Community Park is also the only park within Oshkosh City limits with a public dog park, 9 acres of fenced area in the northeast portion of the park provides a secure environment for dog owners to exercise their pets off-leash. Numerous special events and picnics are held in the park each year. Banquet Tables and round tables for seating with chairs for seating up to 79 people and additional picnic benches/tables. Refrigerator/freezer, portable bar. Small microwave, two chamber sink, large number of receptacles, charcoal grill (48"L x 28"W). DISC GOLF COURSE This 36 hole disc golf course is located throughout the park. 2 courses to play, Yellow and Green. There is no fee for the use of the disc golf course. Hole 1 starts by the Pavilion. There is an ADA accessible hole south of the pavilion parking lot.

Page 6 For info call 920-232-1960 Email: MULTI-SPORT COURT The multi-sport court has tennis, pickleball and basketball, all within a fenced and gated area with parking close by and a water bottle filler. SOCCER COMPLEX Soccer fields are located at the south side of the Community Park. Currently there are 18 fields for use by area soccer clubs. Fields are marked on the nets. Contact the parks department if you are not involved in a club and are interested in using the fields. WINNEBAGO COUNTY PARKS DEPARTMENT Page 7 RUGBY FIELDS The fields are located at the west portion of the park. The fields host several games, and practices, by the Oshkosh Rugby Football Club. Contact the parks department if you are not involved in a club and are interested in using the fields. FISHING LAKES There are two lakes for fishing that are stocked annually. Catch and release is preferred to manage fish stock. BEST FRIENDS DOG PARK Open 7am to 11pm. No fee is charged. A 9 acre fenced area in the northeast portion of the park provides a secure environment for dog owners to exercise their pets off-leash. A separated section for small dogs is also available. The site is supported by ample parking and the facility remains open year round. All other areas of the Community Park are off-limits to dogs. ARCHERY RANGE Located on the west side of the park near Shelter 3. Composite targets and a stand, as well as an ADA accessible target. Please use extreme caution and be aware of your surroundings when using the range. BASEBALL/SOFTBALL DIAMONDS Two lighted ball diamonds, located just west of the multisport court are programmed by the Oshkosh Area School District Rec. Dept. and available for public use. SHARED USE PATH The entire park is accessible via a 10 foot wide asphalt shared use path that connects the primary function areas of the park. The path is 2.25 miles/3.6 km long in its entirety. CROSS COUNTRY SKI AND SNOW SHOE TRAILS Three miles of cross country ski trails are groomed each winter. Snow Shoeing is also welcomed.
