Biography : DIDIER GOMEZ INTERIOR DESIGN Graduate from the National School of Fine Arts, Didier Gomez became a furniture designer in 1978. In 1985, he opened his office in Paris and in 2003 launched " Didier Gomez Design " and " Didier Gomez Interior Design ". Since that period, he has designed many headquarters, corporate offices, shops, luxury hotels in France and around the world including : Yves Saint Laurent, Cartier, LVMH, Bernard Arnault, Celine, Louis Vuitton, Galeries Lafayette, Vivendi Universal, Kenzo, Christian Dior, Pomellato, De Beers and L'Oréal. Internationally recognized among his customers, he also has many loyal personalities including: Harrison Ford, Sean Penn, Pierre Bergé and others in France and abroad From restaurants to luxury hotel brands, he reveals his vision in respect of the various influences with elegance and style such as the Sofitel Rabat, Sofitel Essaouira, or the Grand Hyatt Taipei as well with Japanese star gourmet restaurant Joël Robuchon " Yoshi " Hotel Métropole Monte - Carlo or The Stay Yannick Alléno restaurant and the Sofitel Le Faubourg.
In parallel, as a furniture designer, he works and collaborates with high skilled brands since 1996 including Ligne Roset. A successful french brand that won with him in 2002, at the Paris Furniture Fair for their full collaboration: the Golden Number prize, a distinction that he shared with the publisher. Recently, his last new pieces from his collection were presented at Maison & Objet in January 2015. He also works with Cinna, Mace, Artelano, Moroso and Arthur Bonnet for his model Atmosphere which was rewarded with a Janus de l'industrie in 2005. His next project include The Fairmont Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, a new luxury hotel for Sofitel in Africa, a new 5 star Marriot hotel near Republique under the Renaissance brand that will open in 2015 based on a new hotel concept he created, the transformation of the Hotel Metropole Monte - Carlo and a New York restaurant for a french chef near the MoMA in Midtown West.

B) Hotels - Palace hotel Le Jardin des Roses in Rabat for the launch of the SOFITEL new brand SOFITEL luxury. This hotel is located inside the royal palace garden, welcoming politics, businessmen, and crown heads. With a total of 357 Keys including different types of room typology * Superior room ( ) * Junior suites ( ) * 5 different suites typology including, imperial suite ( ) royal and the presidential suite with around 500 square meters. * Ballrooms, business center. - Hotel SOFITEL Mogador golf and spa (around 5000 s-m) - This hotel has been built on the golf field of the city nearby the ocean. The hotel has a total of.. Keys with (superior rooms, Prestige, Opera but also has 27 Private villas with their own swimming pool each. The spa / hammam / fitness and an interior pool.
- Hotel SOFITEL luxury Faubourg Saint Honore (Paris) Didier Gomez did the renovation of the 220 Guestrooms including 25 Suites resulting from the junction of few existing small guestrooms and their Corridors, The Lobby, The Famous Bar, The restaurant with the Chief Yannick Aleno, the Meeting Rooms, Apartment Couture of 120 S.M and the Library. Very Challenging experience has the Hotel has to stay open during Construction. For that matter, DGID did organize his work into different phases and Methodology by starting from last floor level of guestrooms and going down. But also, by avoiding big structural work such as demolition that would be a trouble for the hotel guests, the Bathroom has been renovated without any demolition: New Materials has been used by covering the existing... The result as seen bellow.
- The Grand Hyatt in Taipei In this hotel, under construction, Didier Gomez designed the entire 800 rooms with 8 different typologies (superior, diplomatic, presidential ), corridors, ballrooms and meeting rooms but also the VIP lounge. - One UN Plaza in New York The hotel divided in two towers (East and West) with a total of 450 Keys of Rooms and Suites including the corridors at each level..
- Design for the launch of a new hotel concept in Singapore Including public spaces, the bar, restaurants, 543 keys, and corridors. SOFITEL Warsaw Refurbishment of the Public spaces (Lobby, Bar and restaurants) Public areas of the Metropole Hotel in Monaco in Collaboration with Mr. Karl Lagerfeld, The Gastronomic Restaurant. Today, DGID is working on the entire Public areas (Corridors, Lobby Reception, Lift lobby and Car. Under Constructions and to be delivered sometime in 2014: 5* Hotel in Paris Marriott with a Scope of work that includes the 152 Guestrooms and their Corridors,2 Restaurants, A Bar, Fitness, Meeting room and Spa. Opening scheduled for January 2016 5* Palace in Kuala Lumpur Fairmont. For this Hotel, DGID Scope of work includes the 750 keys Hotel Guestrooms with 7 different Room Typology, The Public Areas (Lobby, Lounge, Pool), The Spa and Fitness, Meeting Rooms Ballroom and Boardroom but also, The Executive Club Lounge.
