ITINERARY DAY 1 Arrive Phoenix, Arizona / Scenic Drive to Sedona / Explore Uptown Upon arrival at the Phoenix airport, secure your rental car (arranged independently) and depart for the two-hour scenic drive to Sedona. Upon arrival, check-in for your overnight. The afternoon is yours to explore the historic Uptown area of Sedona lined with art galleries, souvenir shops and restaurants. Overnight in the best available accommodations. Lodging based on double occupancy. DAY 2 Two-Hour Private 4x4 Red Rock Jeep Tour / Afternoon at Leisure Meet your private guide at your hotel in the late morning for a world famous 4x4 Jeep adventure. Become awestruck as you travel on and over the red rock formations, taking in panoramic vistas of Sedona's sandstone mesas and pinon pine forest. Hang on as your Jeep navigates the rocky trail, climbing to the top of a red rock lookout point and then descending the Road of No Return. Take a break from the adrenaline rush for a picnic lunch in a beautiful setting, where your guide will teach you about the flora, fauna, geology and history of Sedona. Return to your hotel in the early afternoon. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in the best available accommodations. Lodging based on double occupancy. (L) 2/8

DAY 3 Morning at Leisure / Scenic drive to Grand Canyon National Park / Helicopter Flightseeing Enjoy a relaxing morning at the resort. After check out, set off on a two-hour scenic drive on historic Highway 89A to Grand Canyon National Park. We recommend stopping in Oak Creek Canyon at Indian Gardens Cafe, a local favorite, for coffee or lunch. As you continue north to Flagstaff, history buffs will delight in the Route 66 nostalgia, museums and attractions dedicated to Native American culture and old west legacy. The Museum of Northern Arizona, Walnut Canyon National Monument, historic downtown Flagstaff along Route 66, and the 1950s vintage Galaxy Diner are all worth visiting. Arrive at Grand Canyon Airport in the midafternoon for a shared forty-five-minute helicopter flighseeing tour over the Canyon (seven passengers maximum), fully headset-narrated by your pilot-guide. This is a dramatic and stunning way to see the Canyon. After your helicopter flight, drive a short distance to your hotel. Overnight in or near the National Park in the best available accommodations. Lodging based on double occupancy. 3/8

DAY 4 Full Day Private Tour of Grand Canyon National Park Meet your private guide inside the park this morning for a tour and hikes around the Canyon rim and into the Canyon on trails little-used by other hikers. Your guide will explain the history, geology, flora and fauna of the Canyon. In the afternoon, your guide will take you to the historic lodges and buildings on the Canyon rim, including the studio of photography pioneers Emery & Ellsworth Kolb, where you will have access to a floor of the studio not open to the public. Enjoy lunch at the historic El Tovar, located right on the edge of the South Rim. Bid farewell to your guide in the late afternoon. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight in or near the National Park in the best available accommodations. Lodging based on double occupancy. (L) DAY 5 Scenic Drive to Page / Half Day Shared Glen Canyon Float on the Colorado River After check out, enjoy a three-hour scenic drive to Page, Arizona, following the edge of the Grand Canyon rim most of the way. Upon arrival, check-in for your float trip on the Colorado River. You will begin your float trip with a drive down the two-mile Glen Canyon Dam access tunnel, where you will board a motorized pontoon raft at the base of the dam. Your float trip will take you through the upper Colorado River through Glen Canyon, which is just above the Grand Canyon. You will float on the gentle waters of this stretch of river beneath sheer 1,000-foot red rock canyon walls. Enjoy a stop along the way to view ancient petroglyphs and eat a picnic lunch in a beautiful setting. You will then motor back upstream to your starting point where you began your journey. 4/8

After your float trip, a short drive will take you to your hotel. Overnight in the best available accommodations. Lodging based on double occupancy. (L) DAY 6 Half Day Private Guided Hiking Tour in Bryce Canyon National Park / Continue to Zion National Park After check out, enjoy a two-and-a-half-hour scenic drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. Upon arrival, rendezvous with your private guide for a half day hiking tour. The pinnacles and hoodoos of Bryce Canyon are extraordinary; your guide will explain how the forces of wind and water have created them as you navigate through the park. You will stop along the trail to enjoy a picnic lunch amongst the hoodoos. After your time exploring Bryce, depart for the one-and-a-half-hour journey to Springdale, Utah for check-in and overnight. Springdale is the gateway community at the west entrance to Zion National Park. Established in the fall of 1862, Springdale was home to European settlers and has been welcoming people ever since. There are many galleries and shops to explore, filled with local artwork in addition to a variety of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight in or near the National Park in the best available accommodations. Lodging based on double occupancy. (L) 5/8

DAY 7 Half Day Private Guided Hiking Tour of Zion National Park / Afternoon at Leisure In the morning, rendezvous with your private guide for a half day tour of Zion National Park. Your guide will lead you through the park, hiking to incredible look-out points and interpreting the flora, fauna, geology and history of the park as you go. Take in Zion's spectacular rock formations, including the Three Patriarchs, Cathedral Mountain and Checkerboard Mesa. Zion's sedimentary rock layers continue to be eroded by the forces of wind and water to this day, revealing the iconic red and coral hues of the Southwest. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore at leisure. Overnight in or near the National Park in the best available accommodations. Lodging based on double occupancy. DAY 8 Drive to Las Vegas, Nevada / Depart for Home Enjoy your last morning in the Southwest at your leisure. After check out, drive three hours to the Las Vegas Airport, return your rental car, and depart for home. 6/8
