Programme for Beijing, China 14 August 16 August 2016 Beijing listen carefully to the heartbeat of the world s most populated country as you land at Beijing International Airport, the world s second largest in terms of passenger traffic. Soft and Hard connectivity at its core! Beijing, which means Northern Capital, is the home of over 12 million inhabitants from each corner of the grand country. It has marked itself with its rapid development as a connectivity spot for economic progress, political partnerships, transportation as well as tourism and education. Beijing is the 1st stop of the ASEFSU20 route and will provide insightful lessons for 2 days on: The design of the One Belt, One Road Initiative; a grand-scale project led by the Chinese Government that holds a strong vision to connect Asia and Europe; How transportation is shaped and shapes a country of 1,3 billion citizens; Historical landmarks of Beijing as well as a first-row glimpse on megainfrastructure investments as observers and passengers!
