ISLAND HOPPING (5D/4N) (3 island tour) Day 1: Arrival in San Cristóbal, transfer to hotel.lunch and departure to the Interpretation Center, where we will learn about the formation, colonization, and future of the islands. Then we follow the trail towards the Frigate bird hill, a viewpoint from where we have a nice view of the islands. Then we will snorkel at the Darwin Bay, next sea lions, tropical fishes, and turtles. We end the hike Carola beach, return to hotel. Meals included: -/L/D (dinner at a local fishermen home). Day 2: In the morning we will go to the famous Kicker Rock, a volcanic formation in the middle of the ocean, we will snorkel among sharks, rays, and if lucky, hammerhead sharks! Afterwards we will reach a beautiful beach where we will have lunch on board and then relax time. We will be back to port around 1PM, we ll go to the hotel to change and then hike to Loberia cliff, from where we can spot various bird species (frigate bird, swallow tailed gulls), and marine iguanas. Day 3: Departure to Santa Cruz early morning (7AM), by speedboat (2 hour ride). After having checked in your hotel we will go to the highlands to visit giant tortoises in the wild. Lunch will be served in a local farm. Afterwards we will visit the Garrapatero beach where we can swim and relax. Back to port late afternoon. Meals included: B/L/D. Day 4: Today we will have a yacht tour to an uninhabited island. That will be either Plazas, Santa Fé, Bartolomé or Seymour. The destination will depend on availability at booking and day of the week, as the Park gives daily itineraries (Monday to one island, Tuesday to another) to avoid crowding the islands. Meals included: B/L/D. Day 5: Free time before transfer to airport.you can chose to visit the Charles Darwin Station (free entrance) Meals included: B/-/-). Day 1: Arrival at Baltra airport, transfer to Santa Cruz. We ll have lunch in a local farm and then spot giant tortoises in the wild nearby. Afterwards, we will head to Garrapatero, a nice beach where we can swim and relax. (please have you bathing suit with you). Then we will go the port town of Puerto Ayora to our hotel, check in, dinner. Meals included: -/L/D. Day 2:Today we will have a yacht tour to an uninhabited island. That will be either Plazas, Santa Fé, Bartolomé or Seymour. The destination will depend on availability at booking and day of the week, as the Park gives daily itineraries (Monday to one island, Tuesday to another) to avoid crowding the islands. Meals included: B/L/D. Day 3: At 7AM, boat to Isabela. The ride takes 2h30. At arrival our guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel. Our first visit will be the Wetlands. This mangrove area is home to numerous species like marine iguanas, reintroduced tortoises, Darwin finches. Visit the Flamingo lagoon. Lunch in town and in the afternoon we will visit the Tintorerasislet (shared basis tour) from where we can spot penguins, marine iguanas, sea lions, and even some tomes sharks resting in a lava tunnel. Snorkeling included. Meals included: B/L/D.
Day 4:Today we will hike to Sierra Negra volcano and volcano Chico. The hike is long (16km in total, around 6 hours), but really worth it. We can hike with spectacular lava sceneries and views of the northern volcanoes and Fernandina Island. Lunch and then back to port, around 3PM, time free to enjoy the beach or visit (on your own, entrance free the Concha y Perla lagoon or the Tortoise breeding center).meals included: B/L/D. Day 5: At 05h30 AM pick up at the hotel and transfer to the pier to catch the 06AM boat to Santa Cruz. Breakfast and transfer to Baltra to catch your flight to mainland.
