Important Notice Important Notice to Customer about Aircraft Input/output PVG procedure Please send the Landing / Departure flight application to CAAC Beijing ATC at least (Five) 5 working days in advance with all necessary information and copy to Boeing Shanghai Customer Service. Please forward the flight permit granted by CAAC ATC to Boeing Shanghai for aircraft customs clearance purpose. All flight crew on board MUST hold C or F or M visa. All technical crew on board MUST hold F or M visa. Boeing Shanghai can assist Customer in issuing invitation letter upon request. Please fill in the attached Form Comm 001 of Aircraft Information for CIQ declaration purpose and send it to Boeing Shanghai Customer Service at least (Five) 5 working days before the aircraft delivery. Please forward the On Site Representatives passport copies, prior to their arrival, to Boeing Shanghai Customer Service for Entry Permit preparation.
Important Notice Cont Ramp Permit The apron outside of Boeing Shanghai hangar is secured by Shanghai Airport Security Office. Anyone wants to access to aircraft of outside hangar is requested to hold a ramp permit. To get ramp permit, it is necessary for people to have an interview in the Security Office with holding passport, non-criminal statement and company badge. Normally it takes 3 working days to get the permit. For the noncriminal statement, it should be issued by police office or government officials, and notarized by Chinese embassy / consulate; it is also acceptable if it is issued by the foreign embassy / consulate in China. Original copy is requested. Note: The ramp pass cannot be treated as a permit to board a regular flight, test/demo flight or a ferry flight.

Crew Visa C OR F OR M VISA VALID FOR FLIGHT CREW AND ONLY F OR M VISA VALID FOR TECHNICAL CREW ON BOARD FERRY FLIGHT 1. The proper visa ( C Type or F Type or M Type) ) for your flight crew and technical team members must be obtained prior to flight departure. Please forward the following information to the Boeing Shanghai Commercial Thirty (30) days prior to your aircraft input into Boeing Shanghai, so that Boeing Shanghai could furnish you with an Invitation Letter for your visa application at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your country. 1. Name, date of birth, sex, nationality, position and passport number 2. Duration of stay in China 3. One entry or Multi-entries 4. Current address and telephone and fax numbers 5. Place of Chinese Embassy or Consulate General 2. Please apply forthwith for the proper visas ( C Type or F Type or M Type) at the appropriate Chinese Embassy or Chinese Consulate General in your Country together with our Invitation Letter. 3. Some airlines may have private Agreements with the appropriate Chinese Government Officials whereby crew for their revenue flights do not need a valid Visa to enter into China. This policy however, definitely does not apply to the flight crew, technical representatives or any other person on board any aircraft intended as a ferry flight to and from Shanghai, for maintenance work to be performed by Boeing Shanghai. 4. It is also NOT permitted to obtain a Landing Visa on arrival in Shanghai on such ferry flights for: crew, technical representatives and or passengers traveling on board. 5. Please note that if flight crew, technical representatives or other persons on board a ferry flight does not hold a proper Chinese Visa as indicated above, both the carrier and the Captain will be fined severely by the appropriate Chinese Government officials. The aircraft may also be refused permission to remain in Shanghai and the carrier may be requested to return the aircraft to the place where it departed from originally. Arrival/Departure Procedures Cont If you intend to fly the aircraft to an airport in a third country for a revenue flight after heavy check in Boeing Shanghai. Please make sure: 1. You have the Landing Permit in the airport from the CAA of the third country; 2. Your aircraft was registered in the CAA of the third country; 3. Your aircraft can meet the minimum requirements of the revenue flight; 4. Furthermore you may need to consider how to swap the flight equipment from one aircraft to the maintained aircraft If you intend to fly the aircraft to an airport inside mainland China continuously for a revenue flight after heavy check in Boeing Shanghai, please make sure you can get a flight permit from CAAC Beijing ATC for the domestic flight.

Cargo onboard ferry flight If there is any cargo onboard ferry flight, please contact our Logistics department at least 5 working days before the ferry flight arrival at PVG. And if any onboard cargo was caught by PVG customs since no advanced declaration, Boeing Shanghai shall take no liability for any TAT extension as the onboard cargo cannot be timely cleared from PVG customs.
