EAST JAVA NEW YEAR EVE SWEET VOLCANOES TOUR In this tour, participants can enjoy the beautiful scenery of East Java volcanoes, as well as enjoying the rich heritage of East Java s sugar industry. Tour participants will be taken to see the beautiful sceneries of East Java volcanoes, and we also exploring the scenic rural countryside in the sugar mills in East Java. Day 1 (December 27, 2016): Upon arriving in Surabaya airport and clearing the custom and immigration, tour participants will be greeted by our tour representative. Then, they will be taken to hotel for check in as well as rest and relax. Free Surabaya city tour is available on option. Day 2 (December 28, 2016): In the morning, we will check out from the hotel and head to mount Bromo. First we will ascend to mount Penanjakan where we will enjoy the scenery of the caldera. After that we move to Bromo crater to see the crater of live volcano. We will also explore the savannah and the volcanic dessert.
After we conclude our tour in Bromo, we head to Situbondo. Upon arriving at the town we will check in into the hotel. Day 3 (December 29, 2016): After breakfast, we will visit Olean sugar mill to see its century-old machinery, as well as riding its steam locomotive working into its field lines.
We will return back to the hotel in the afternoon for rest and relax. Day 4 (December 30, 2016): In the morning after breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and head to Banyuwangi. Along the way, we will drop by at Baluran National Park, which is known as "Africa of Java" due to its resemblance to Africa. After completing our tour at Baluran, we will head to Banyuwangi, where upon arriving at the town we will check in into the hotel. Day 5 (December 31, 2016): At midnight, we will head to Ijen crater to see the famed blue fire as well as enjoying the beautiful scenery of surrounding caldera. Upon completion of Ijen tour, we will return back to the hotel in Banyuwangi for breakfast and then rest and relax.
In the afternoon, we will go to Pulau Merah beach to see the spectacular sunset in the beach. Day 6 (January 1, 2017): In the morning, we will check out from the hotel and head to Jember. Along the way we will drop by at Gumitir Rest Area to have lunch and also exploring the coffee plantation. At the completion of the tour, we will resume our journey to Jember, where upon arriving at the town we will check in into the hotel. Day 7 (January 2, 2017): Today we will spend the whole day by visiting Semboro sugar mill, visiting its mill as well as exploring its vast field lines network by riding steam loco hauled tourist train.
Upon completion of the tour we return back to the hotel for rest and relax. Day 8 (January 3, 2017): After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and then we will travel back on a 7 hour journey back to Surabaya. Upon arriving at Surabaya, we will check in into the hotel. Day 9 (January 4, 2017): Free programme is available in the morning before tour participants will be taken to the airport for their return flight, and conclusion of the journey.
