After breakfast, boats will be waiting to transfer you to Laguna Lodge. On arrival there will be a short briefing followed by lunch, before an afternoon visit to the village of Tortuguero. You will stay here for 2 nights. Tortuguero National Park ~ Explore the secondary canals and get closer to nature in Tortuguero National Park. Return to the lodge for free time. Tortuguero National Park - Arenal Volcano Area ~ Mid-morning, continue with a boat transfer back to the local dock where ground transportation will be provided to Gaupiles, where lunch will be served. Afterwards, continue on an unescorted transfer which will pass through towns such as Puerto Viejo, San Miguel, Venecia and Aguas Zarcas. Also, take the opportunity (dependent on season) to observe the crops of pineapple, bananas and sugar cane. Arrive at La Fortuna Village late afternoon, where you will be welcomed by the sight of the Arenal Volcano. Check in at your hotel, where you will stay two nights. Arenal Volcano ~ In the morning visit the Arenal Volcano and its surroundings. You can enjoy the most extraordinary views on a gentle hike along the base of this Mountain of Fire. The trail takes about 2 1/2 hours to be completed. Return to the hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure. Later continue on to Puno. Lake Titicaca and Floating Islands of the Uros and Taquile. A three hour boat trip on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, will take you to the Island of Taquile. Cusco / La Raya / Racchi / Andahuaylillas - You will start the trip by bus to Cusco and stop at Pucara and La Raya, the highest point on the road between Puno and Cusco, offering excellent photo opportunities as you enjoy the wonderful scenery of the South Valley of Cusco.
