Comments Treatments: Nozzles types - AI TeeJet, Greenleaf TurboDrop, Greenleaf TurboDrop XL, DG TeeJet, and Turbo TeeJet compared with XR TeeJet/110015 (standard nozzle) Spray volume - 10 gallons per acre Spray pressure - 45 psi Roundup Ultra applied at 1.2 and 1.6 pt/a to barnyardgrass, entireleaf morningglory, and hemp sesbania at 5 to 9 inches Visual weed control ratings made 7 and 30 days after treatment (DAT) Conclusions: 1. Roundup UltraMax rate was highly significant as would be expected and weed control was greater when rate was increased to 1.6 pt/a. 2. No real differences in weed control were observed among the drift reducing nozzles or the standard XR TeeJet nozzle i.e., larger droplets from the drift reducing nozzles did not diminish weed control when compared with the finer droplets delivered by the XR TeeJet nozzle. 3. Roundup UltraMax at the high rate controlled barnyardgrass, hemp sesbania, and morningglory 30 DAT around 89, 80, and 85%, respectively.
