Frankfurt is the biggest city in Hesse State and the fifth-largest in Germany. The city is mostly famous for being the financial centre of Germany, its impressing skyline and its huge airport number four in Europe in relation to its volume of passengers! Day 1 We will pick you up from the airport and take you to our accommodation where we will have time to check in, get to know each other, talk about the trip programme, details and rules and have dinner together. Afterwards we will go on an evening stroll around the city centre with the town hall and have a look at the skyline Frankfurt is famous for. Day 2 After breakfast and checking out we will start our Germany trip next stop is Cologne!
Cologne is one of the biggest and oldest cities in Germany. With a 2000-year history, Cologne offers countless attractions and cultural impressions. Moreover, there is a lot to see and discover at the riverside. Together, we want to enjoy the Rhineish lifestyle and the special atmosphere of the Domstadt! Day 2 We will use the day to explore the city and its rich history with a guided city tour. We will visit the Kölner Dom, the Hohenzollern Bridge and different quarters of the city from different historic periods. If we have good weather, we will take a break and spend lunchtime at the beautiful riverside. Afterwards you will have time to stroll around and discover the city in smaller groups. Maybe you can find some signs of the upcoming carnival Cologne is world famous for? And maybe you are brave enough to try some Himmel and Ääd? Day 3 After breakfast we will discover Ehrenfeld the part of Cologne that is known for its street art and graffiti, little alternative shops of fashion, design, re- and upcycling and urban design. You will certainly have time to take lots if pictures and experience the special atmosphere of this part of town. In the late afternoon we will take the next step on our tour and travel to Hamburg!
Hamburg is the second biggest city of Germany, a port city with multicultural flair and a unique atmosphere and lifestyle. The inhabitants of Hamburg are proud of their most beautiful city of Germany because of all the parks, canals, sights and attractions, shopping facilities and activities. There is so much to see, visit and explore! Day 3 We will arrive in the evening and check in to our accommodation. If there is time for a stroll, we will go down to the Landungsbrücken at Elbe river and see the harbour in the evening light a magical atmosphere! Then it is time to rest so we can start the next day full of energy! Day 4 After breakfast we will start our guided tour through Hamburg s city centre with its beautiful town hall, numberless bridges and canals, the Speicherstadt (the world's largest warehouse complex and UNECO world heritage) and the HafenCity with the new built Elbphilharmonie. There will be plenty of time for taking pictures, warming up in one of the many little cafes and restaurants and for shopping and exploring the city on your own. Day 5 Today we will see Hamburg from below by walking through the Elbtunnel and the district Wilhelmsburg ( Hamburg on the other side of the river Elbe ) and then from above by climbing the Michel, the tower of the St. Michaels church one of the symbols of Hamburg that allows us a beautiful view over the city and especially the harbour. In the evening we will go on a little boat trip on the Elbe river to see the city from the water side! If there is time we will stroll around the Alster and across the Reeperbahn! And you definitely need to try some fish, maybe in a bread roll that is the food hamburg is famous for. Or even a Labskaus? Day 6 After breakfast we will say goodbye to Hamburg and travel to the capital of Germany Berlin is our next stop!
Berlin is more than 775 years old and over the decades, all generations have left their monuments and landmarks in town. The city has a touching history, as it was separated in East and West during the Cold War. Many families were separated from each other. Today Berlin is a centre of culture, art, politics and science. Berlin s architecture, design and lifestyle are famous around the world, so there is plenty to explore and see! Day 6 After checking in to our accommodation, we will start to explore the city by visiting the Regierungsviertel, the Reichstag, the Brandenburger Tor, the Holocaust Memorial, the Potsdamer Platz and other famous sights on the way to get a first impression of the city. Dinner has to be a famous Currywurst or a Döner lets try to find the best one in the city! Day 7 This day is all about the division of Germany and the city of Berlin. We will follow the traces of this historic event and visit the Mauerpark, the Eastside Gallery and of course the famous Checkpoint Charlie! In the afternoon we will go to the Alexanderplatz with the TV Tower and have free time to go shopping and to relax. In the evening we will take a boat trip on the Spree river. Day 8 Depending on the groups interest, today is time to visit one of Berlins famous museums at the Museumsinsel or the Stasi Museum, a walk along the Kurfürstendamm and a visit of the Gedächtniskirche or a guided tour in the Reichstag where the German parliament is based and where German politics is happening! Day 9 After breakfast we will travel to our next stop which is located in the Eastern part of Germany the beautiful city of Dresden!
Dresden is the capital of Sachsen. The City is also called "Florence at the Elbe" thanks to its idyllic location on the banks of the Elbe river, and its excellent examples of Baroque architecture. Dresden is a metropolis of art and culture, it has lots of world-class museums as well as wonderful palaces, parks and gardens. Day 9 After arriving at our accommodation and the check-in we will have a tour through the city, visit the Frauenkirche, the Brühlsche Terasse and the Zwinger Palace, the Semperoper and the Residenzschloss and the Gläserne Manufaktur of Volkswagen. Maybe we can go to the movie night or a concert at the Elbufer and enjoy the overwhelming panorama of Dresden at night. You also have to have a break in one of the famous café houses and try some Saxonian cake it is delicious! Day 10 In the morning we will visit the Elbsandsteingebirge, a low mountain range in Sachsen (Germany) and Nordböhmen (Czech Republic). It is around 700km² large and about 723 m above the sea level. It has an amazing landscape and is worth a visit. People from all over the world come here to experience the breath-taking view. It is a great opportunity to see the stunning landscape! In the afternoon we will continue our trip to Nürnberg.
Nürnberg is the second biggest city in the State of Bavaria, and famous for its old city centre with many historic buildings and its museums. We will explore the city together with you and get an idea of its interesting and long history with all its light and dark sides! Day 10 After arriving at our accommodation and checking in we will visit the Nürnberg castle which is a double castle and the symbol of the city. The castle is historically and artistically one of the most important fortifications in Europe! After exploring it we will go on a guided tour through Nürnberg and visit the old city centre with its sights the Hauptmarkt, the St. Lorenz Church, the Justizpalast and many others. There will be free time to walk around the city and explore its impressive architecture in smaller groups as well. Of course you also have to try Nürnberger Würstchen at some point! Day 11 After breakfast we will visit the Dokumentationszentrum Reichsparteitagsgelände where different exhibitions explain and show the reasons, connections and consequences of the Nazi regime between 1933 and 1945. Nürnberg was the city of the Reichsparteitage and used as a centre of the Nazi propaganda. In the late afternoon we will continue our trip to Munich one of Germanys most famous cities and our last stop!
Munich is the capital of Bavaria and a must-see for everyone who wants to get to know the South of Germany. There is no better place to experience the typical Bavarian flair and their warm character. We want to see both the historic and the contemporary side of Munich. Furthermore, we will discover its regional culinary delights and the music. Day 11 We will arrive in Munich just in time to check in and have a traditional Bavarian dinner a Schnitzel at the Schnitzelwirt which is supposed to be the best in town! If there is time and energy left, we will go for a little stroll around Munichs old town in the evening. Time to rest and get ready for the next day! Day 12 After breakfast will visit the old and new town hall, Stachus, Marienplatz, Odeplatz, the Frauenkirche and we will have a walk to the Viktualienmarkt. In the afternoon we will visit Dachau which was the first continuously operated concentration camp in Germany for a period of 12 years - and an estimated 41.000 victims of the German Nazi Regime were murdered there. Now Dachau is a memorial site to ensure that people will not forget. After coming back there will be some free time to relax and have dinner. Day 13 and 14 These 2 days will be used for the cultural preparation course before you all travel to your host families! Day 15 trip to your host families they are waiting for you!

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE TRIP? 1. Please fill out the registration form very carefully. You will need the signature of your parents. The registration form contains important information, which we need because you are underage. That is why it is a bit longer than a normal online booking on the internet. 2. After we have received the money, you will be sent a confirmation of participation. 3. You will receive an exact agenda of the trip and all the relevant information (What should I pack? etc.). Should the information not reach you, please contact the aubiko office in Hamburg. 4. The Eurotrip starts in Frankfurt end ends in Munich. From there you will continue to your host family. 5. Save the aubiko emergency number and check if you have sent us your correct mobile phone number.
