Remainder of the evening is free to relax. (2) Monday, July 29: Sternwheeler This morning you are in for an incredible Alaskan adventure. On our RIVERBOAT DISCOVERY TOUR you will see a bush float-plane takeoff alongside the boat. See the home and kennel of the late four-time Iditarod winner Susan Buthcher and see 2 her champion sled dogs in action. Learn about the Alaskan Chena Indian tribe as you tour their village and hear short lectures and see demonstrations about their culture. Enjoy an included MINER S LUNCH when you return to the dock around noon. This afternoon we will make a stop to see the ALASKAN PIPELINE, an engineering wonder. Tonight is our included ALASKAN SALMON BAKE, so come hungry! Optional: Afternoon activity is Panning for Gold Tuesday, July 30: Denali 3 This morning we will visit the fascinating Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center in Fairbanks. You are free to explore the area and find a local establishment for lunch before we head to Denali. After arriving in Denali, travelers have the rest of the day to explore the area, shop and enjoy dinner in a local restaurant.

With our boxed lunches in hand, we will journey deep into the park wilderness in search of the Big Five (wolves, grizzlies, moose, caribou and Dall sheep) while soaking in the Alaskan beauty that surrounds you. We will return to the hotel by midafternoon. This evening, thrill seekers can join our optional White Water Rafting Experience for an exhilarating trip down some of Alaska s tumultuous waters. 5 Thursday, August 1: Anchorage We depart for Anchorage today by train and this is sure to be one of the highlights of your trip. Aboard the train, famous for its glass-domed rail car, travelers will enjoy an included delicious LUNCH while taking in the breathtaking scenery that lines our route. After arrival in Anchorage, we will transfer to the Anchorage Marriot in the center of the center of the city. Evening is free.
