Choosing the Right Equipment It's as Easy as 1-2-3! Choose a Spray Gun + Hose + Fluid Supply to build your own Spray Adhesives System. STEP 1 Spray Guns The spray gun creates a fine mist to evenly apply the adhesive in a thin layer across the substrate. Graco's AirPro conventional spray gun has unique aircaps are designed for spraying waterborne and solventborne adhesives and sealants. For use in a variety of industries: Furniture Automotive Appliance Needle/nozzle sizes: 0.051 in and 0.70 in (1.3 mm and 1.8 mm) Part Numbers Part Number Spray Type Nozzle in. STEP 3 Fluid Supply There are two main fluid supply methods commonly used with spray adhesives. Pressure Pot A pressure pot works by placing the fluid into the vessel and pressuring it with air. The pressure created within the tank causes the fluid to flow out of the tank. Graco's lightweight, aluminum, pressure tanks are portability and feature a pressure relief valve, convenient fl uid outlet location and quick lock clamps. Ideal for small batches, special color applications or infrequent or build to order production Liners available for quick color change and easy clean-up Inexpensive, fl exible, and easily upgraded Accurate pressure control, especially at low pressures Spray Package 24C828 Pressure Pot see below Part Numbers Capacity 5 Gallon (19 liter) 5 Gallon (19 liter) 10 Gallon (38 liter) 10 Gallon (38 liter) Pumps and Pump Packages Supply pumps use air pressure to move a piston, which exerts force on a liquid. This force creates fluid pressure and pushes the fluid out of the outlet of the pump. Spray packages combine a spray gun and pump/pressure pot with a hose to provide a complete solution for moving the material from the container to the substrate. Graco's Triton air-operated diaphragm spray package applies a high quality, decorative fi nish to wood and metal parts. Supplies up to 35% extra air fl ow to gun for superior atomization Saves material and time during fl ushing, priming and color changes Delivers a consistent spray pattern and uniform fi lm thickness Reduces operator fatigue Sprays a wide variety of material viscosities Height in (cm) Weight lb (kg) Low Pressure (HVLP) Regulated to 15 psi (1.05 bar, 0.105 MPa) Models with Agitators High Pressure Regulated to 100 psi (7 bar, 0.7 MPa) Low Pressure (HVLP) Regulated to 15 psi (1.05 bar, 0.105 MPa) Models without Agitators High Pressure Regulated to 100 psi (7 bar, 0.7 MPa) 30.5 (77.5) 65 (30) 236143 236149 30.5 (77.5) 74 (34) 236146 236152 33.9 (88.0) 85 (39) 236147 236153 Stand Mount Bare Spray Package (no gun/hose) 233474 Pail Mount Bare Spray Package (no gun/hose) 233467 Wall Mount Bare Spray Package (no gun/hose) 233488 33.9 (88.0) 76 (35) 236144 236150
