The itinerary Day 1 Australia Delhi Today you ll depart from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth for Delhi. Fly with either Cathay Pacific, China Southern Airlines or Singapore Airlines with all meals included. Once you arrive, you ll meet your tour representative and receive a welcome garland at the airport. Day 2 Welcome to Delhi After breakfast this morning, you ll head out on a tour of Old and New Delhi. You ll visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Red Fort, and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. First, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the colourful Chandni Chowk markets before heading to the Laxminarayan Temple. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of prosperity and good fortune, Lakshmi. Then you ll visit Rashtrapati Bhawan, the palace-like home to the President of India before going to the Lotus Temple, also known as the Baha i Temple. Day 3 Delhi Jaipur This morning you ll travel to Jaipur, and once you arrive you ll check into your hotel for the evening where dinner will be provided. Rajasthan, the capital of Jaipur is instantly recognisable for its pink buildings, a colour associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. Get lost in the grandeur of the palaces and explore the culture and way of life. Explore the colourful bazaars where you can shop for Rajasthani textiles and trinkets. Overnight: Jaipur (Standard or Premium Hotel option). Meals included: breakfast and dinner. Day 4 Jaipur city tour and Amber Fort Today you ll enjoy a day of sightseeing around Jaipur. First you ll head off on an excursion to Amber Fort, the old fort of the Kachwaha clan of Amber, located just 11km from Jaipur. Then you ll get to visit the City Palace, the former royal residence, and Jantar Mantar, the largest of 5 observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. + Amber Fort is a beautiful sight to behold, built with white marble and red sandstone with Maota Lake in the foreground, you ll be able to snap some perfect pictures.
