Welcome LEN in cooperation with the French Swimming Federation and NEO has the honour of welcoming you to Marseille, France for LEN Congress 2017. The following information has been designed as a reference for all delegates attending LEN Congress 2017. This pack contains all the necessary information and is a convenient reference tool for your stay in Marseille. LEN and the French Swimming Federation would like to wish you a pleasant stay in France and thank you for joining us for the LEN Congress. Host City Oldest city in France, founded more than 2600 years ago, Marseille has become in the past few years an ultra-modern, fashionable city. European Culture Capital in 2013 and European Sport Capital in 2017, France s second biggest city is now considered as an essential touristic destination. But Marseille has still kept all its charm and authenticity: it has 57 kilometres of coastline and one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. Its attractiveness is based on 300 days of sunshine a year, Mediterranean gastronomy, a fine historic heritage, a modernised city centre and the sociability of its inhabitants!
