Buenos Aires Río Cuarto Córdoba Suggested Itinerary 12 Days / 9 Nights PLEASE NOTE: Actual sequence and timing of activities will revolve around your concert schedule. All times are approximate and may vary according to flight schedules and other logistical factors. ALL MUSICAL ACTIVITIES ARE HIGHLIGHTED IN RED. Day 1 Depart USA Evening Board your overnight flight to cosmopolitan Buenos Aires, Argentina s political, economic, and cultural capital, arriving at Ezeiza International Airport the next morning. Likely connection en route. Dinner and Breakfast served aloft. Day 2 Buenos Aires Arrival at Buenos Aires' Ezeiza International Airport. Buenos Aires is a world-class city of some 10 million people, located on the shores of the Río de la Plata, adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean. The sophistication of this city is evident in the abundant presence of elegant mansions and other buildings constructed in the appealing turn-of-thecentury French Beaux Arts style of architecture. Its many leafy parks, graced by dramatic and imposing statues, are reminiscent of European capitals, such as Paris, Rome or Madrid. Buenos Aires' wide and busy boulevards, some as many as twelve lanes across, project the metropolis' energy, drive, and fast pace. Its never-ending supply of cafes, restaurants, and other entertainment options, speak of the city's appreciation of a certain joie-de-vivre. Buenos Aires has a rich musical life and tradition, most famous of which is found in the Tango song and dance genre. In addition to numerous Tango dinner dance performances, nearly every night there is a wide selection of both choral and instrumental concerts to choose from, performed by skilled musicians in beautiful venues that are rich in character and culturally significant.

Greeting by your highly-qualified Tour Manager. The Tour Managers we select are chosen for their high-energy and commitment to customer satisfaction. For the duration of your stay, your Tour Manager will be coordinating and managing a ll of your scheduled activities and will be available to you on a 24-hour basis should you need special assistance. City Sightseeing Tour Plaza de Mayo Casa Rosada Ave. 9 de Julio Commence a three-hour city sightseeing tour giving you an overview of Buenos Aires' history and culture as seen through its neighborhoods and historical landmarks. Tentative itinerary includes the Plaza de Mayo (historical heart of the city), the Casa Rosada (presidential palace), Palace of Congress, the Teatro Colón (renowned opera house), Avenida Nueve de Julio (a ten-lane wide avenue), and the Obelisk (reminiscent of the Washington Monument). Evening The delightful neighborhoods of La Boca and San Telmo (birthplace of the Tango), Palermo (with wide boulevards, leafy parks, and extravagant monuments) and Recoleta (highlighted by the cemetery featuring opulent mausoleums where "Evita" Perón is buried) will be featured. After completing your tour you will understand why Buenos Aires is compared to many European cities. Arrive at your Three-Star Hotel for check-in. Lunch on your own. Welcome Dinner at a nice restaurant (this meal is included in your tour program). Day 3 Buenos Aires Teatro Colón (Opera House) Guided Tour Transfer to the Teatro Colón, one of the world's most important opera houses, for a guided tour of this marvelous facility. The Colón was completed in 1908 representing the ambitions of Buenos Aires growing elite families to emulate the style of the finest cities of Europe. The theater s magnificent performance hall, La Sala, has seating for an audience of 2,478. Host to performances by some of the world s finest performing groups, the Colón is Buenos Aires most-valued cultural treasure.

Suggestion: Free time to visit Avenida Santa Fé - Buenos Aires' premier shopping street with 35 blocks of Boutiques and Shopping Gallerias with the latest European fashions at reasonable prices. Arte Decorativo Bellas Artes MALBA Those with more of a cultural / history interest should visit the fine museums of Recoleta and nearby areas, such as the Museo de Bellas Artes (fine arts museum), Museo de Arte Decorativo (housed in a beautiful early 20th-century French style mansion) or the Casa Rosada Presidential Palace for a guided tour. The Museo Evita is small but captures the essence of Evita Peron's enormous impact on Argentine history. Evening CONCERT PERFORMANCE EVENT # 1 Day 4 Buenos Aires & Paseo Recoleta Artisans Market On weekends venture to the Paseo Recoleta Artisans Market for lots of bargains on hand-made leather and other goods at one of the hundreds of stalls staffed by the artisans themselves. Located in the upscale Recoleta neighborhood, this market is one of Buenos Aires favorite shopping pastimes with an unsurpassed variety of items at attractive prices.

Evening Tango Dinner Show & Lessons Enjoy one of Buenos Aires' cozy and elegant dinner theatres, reminiscent of the early 20 th century. Dine on delicious Argentine beef or other delicacy as you are entertained by perfectly-groomed and fashionably-attired Tango dancers performing the traditional dance with its distinctive dramatic movements. A wonderful musical experience! Day 5 La Plata Lunch on your own. Depart to La Plata, the planned city of 500,000 people located 35 miles south of Buenos Aires. Visit to the City of La Plata Upon arriving in La Plata, enjoy an overview of the points of interest of this city, which is the capital of the Province of Buenos Aires. La Plata was built as a planned city on a grid pattern of roads intersected by diagonal avenues dotted by plazas and small parks. Highlight is the magnificent La Plata Cathedral facing Plaza Moreno in the center of town. It is the largest neo-gothic cathedral in Latin America and was only completed in the late 1990s after a 100-year construction effort. Ride the elevator up one of the cathedral spires for a great view of La Plata s historic buildings, plazas and monuments. Early Evening Dinner at a local restaurant (this meal is included in your tour program). Evening CONCERT PERFORMANCE EVENT # 2

Day 6 Buenos Aires & Pampas Ranch Day Depart in your private motorcoach for an exciting visit to an authentic Argentine "estancia" (cattle ranch). Experience the life of the "gauchos" (cowboys) through roping demonstrations, rides on horse-driven carts plus folklore dancing and singing. Highlight of your visit is a traditional Argentine "asado" (barbecue) featuring delicious cuts of world-famous Argentine beef grilled over an open pit. Evening Dinner on own. Day 7 Buenos Aires Río Cuarto Check out of your hotel. Board your private motorcoach for the journey to Río Cuarto, in the province of Córdoba. Rio Cuarto is Cordoba s second-largest city with a population of 150,000. Lunch en-route on own. Arrival in Río Cuarto and check into your Three-Star Hotel. Río Cuarto is a "typical" smaller Argentine city in the country's heartland. With a population of 150,000 and just a dozen square miles in size, the city has a relatively slow, stress-free pace. Traditional practices such as the siesta are observed, where businesses close down at 1pm for lunch and a nap and reopen at 4pm until 8pm. People are friendly and neighbors take the time to drop in on each other and share a "mate" (pronounced "mah-tay"), a strong tea sipped through a metal "straw". Dinner at a restaurant near your hotel (this meal is included in your tour program). Day 8 Río Cuarto

Walking Tour Río Cuarto is a compact city with all of its historic and cultura l attractions centered in the area surrounding Plaza General Roca, the city s main square and commercial center. Sites to be visited include the Museo Histórico Regional, with displays that richly outline the region s socio-economic development in the context of Argentine and Latin American history. Río Cuarto s main cathedral, built in 1890, is a beautiful example of baroque-style architecture. Evening CONCERT PERFORMANCE EVENT # 3 Day 9 Río Cuarto - Córdoba Breakfast at Hotel & Check out. Depart Río Cuarto on your private motorcoach to Córdoba Arrival in Córdoba and Check in to your Three-Star Hotel. Córdoba has a population of about a million people and is the capital of the province of the same name. Founded in 1573 as a major crossroads on the missionary and trade routes connecting the Spanish South American colonies, Córdoba was once the most important city in what is present-day Argentina. Most noteworthy are the remnants of a chain of missions established in the countryside near Córdoba by Spanish Jesuit missionaries some 300 to 400 years ago. City Sightseeing Tour

Two hours tour to get acquainted with Córdoba's rich history and culture. The Iglesia Catedral, the most important church in the city, dating back to 1753, and the Cabildo, home of the Spanish colonial-era government, bound Plaza San Martín, located in the heart of Córdoba. Nearby is the Manzana Jesuita (Jesuit Square), a city block donated to the Jesuits by the Spanish colonial government in 1599 where numerous important structures of historical and architectural significance were subsequently built, including the Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús, the Colegio Monserrat, and the Jesuit University, underscoring the evangelical and educational mission of the Jesuits. One of the streets bounding the square is Obispo Trejo, a several-blocks long pedestrian shopping promenade lined with delightful shops and cafés. Day 10 Córdoba Alta Gracia & Alta Gracia Excursion Day-trip to Alta Gracia, a colonial mountain town located near Córdoba. Main attraction is the extensive Jesuit Mission complex consisting of several historic structures, highlighted by the main church. Also, visit the former home and now museum of Che Guevara, the legendary Argentine revolutionary most famous for his beret-wearing likeness appearing on many souvenir items. Arrive back at your hotel. Evening CONCERT PERFORMANCE EVENT # 4 Day 11 Córdoba - Flight to USA Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy your last day in Córdoba! Shop, eat, relax, and continue to explore!
