The Taj Mahal is currently about US$20. Your driver can help with restaurant selections. A good Indian meal can be had for $2.00 to $5.00. You would be hard pressed to spend more than $10 at the fanciest restaurant unless you are in a five star hotel. Alcohol is available in all cities en-route except for Pushkar. We only offer AC cars. Air-conditioning may not be absolutely necessary October through February, but it is always nice to be able to roll your windows up against dust or pollution. It is customary to tip your driver 10% for his sixteen days of continual service, more if you feel it is deserved. Curious about what kind of cars we use? Click here. Pokhara Nepal (Great for tracking)
Need to do a bit more research on trek options in Nepal but this will give you an idea. We did the royal trek but I suspect that as there are no tea houses it might be a bit more expensive. http://www.nepaltravelplan.co.uk/trekking-in-nepal.htm http://www.tripadvisor.com.au/attraction_review-g293891-d3572000-reviews-poon_hill- Pokhara_Gandaki_Zone_Western_Region.html http://wikitravel.org/en/trekking_in_nepal
