Itinerary Details Day 01: Jaipur: Sightseeing Tours On arrival pickup from Airport / Railway station check into the Hotel. Then visit the City Palace complex which includes the SawaiMansingh Museum with its excellent collections of rare manuscripts and miniature paintings, Mubarak Mahal and the Armoury. Next stop will be for the centuries-old world's largest sun dial at JantarMantar. Later opt out to visit ChokhiDhani, an ethnic village resort to view folk dances, puppet show, camel ride etc. Enjoy Rajasthani Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Jaipur: Full Day excursion Tours After breakfast excursion to visit Amber Fort-Palace, stopping en route for a few moments at Jal Mahal (Water Palace) and the recently restored Kanak Vrindavan Temple with its manicured gardens. At Amber Fort-Palace, you can hire an elephant to take you up to the sprawling fort-palace complex. The main attractions are the SukhMandir (Temple of Contentment - an aptly named pleasure chamber, cooled by a stunning water cascade) and the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). Spend rest of the evening browsing through the streets of Jaipur seeing the craftsmen working on marble statues in Khazaane-walonka Rasta and making bangles in Maniharonka Rasta. Overnight at the hotel. Day 03: Jaipur Pushkar via Ajmer (150 Kms, 02 ½ hrs Drive) Jaipur to Pushkar Leave after breakfast for Pushkarenroute visit Sufi Dargah of KhwajaMoinuddinChisti - probably the most important Muslim shrine in the Indian sub-continent. Check-in to the hotel at Pushkar. Explore the Holy city of Hindus,well known for the holy lake and the only temple in the country that is dedicated to Lord Brahma. Pushkar has as many as 400 temples and 52 ghatsand is also famous for Camel & Cattle fair in the Month of November around 300000 Camel Owners come for Trading. On reaching we go to PushkarPalace. Overnight stay in a hotel. Day 04: Pushkar Chittorgarh Udaipur (330 kms. 7 hrs drive) After breakfast, drive to Udaipur enroute visiting Chittorgarh visiting Chittaurgarh Fort, India's largest fort and the ultimate symbol of Rajput chivalry and pride. An outstanding feature of the fort is the Vijaysthambha (Tower of Victory). Profusely carved with images of gods and godesses, this nine-storied architectural masterpiece is visible from the plains below for miles around. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Evening we visit the magnificient Lake Palace in the middle of Lake Pichola, which is one of the India's oldest artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Udaipur: Full Day sightseeing tours Morning after breakfast, full day tour of Udaipur visiting the extensive and opulent City Palace complex which is also a houses a museum and a hotel. The building has a couple of Sheesh Mahals with elaborate mirrors and coloured glass on the ceiling, walls and even the floor (Thank God, it took my weight!). Another celebrated feature of the building is the grand Mor Chowk (Peacock Courtyard), with its walls covered with a dramatic glass mosaic relief of dancing peacocks. After lunch we visit Lake FatehSagar before taking a stroll at the PratapSmarak. Next stop is the beautiful garden Saheliyonki Bari. This evening, we visit Shilpagram, an interesting "living ethnographic museum" that gives a superb insight into rural Rajasthan. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 06: Udaipur Mount Abu ( 170 Kms. 03 hrs drive) After breakfast departure to Mount abu. Check-in at hotel & post lunch visit to Om Shanti Bhavan and the Achalgarh Fort with its superb view of the surrounding plains. In the evening visit Sunset Point, with its lovely view of the surrounding hills. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Mount Abu: Full Day sightseeing tours Full day sightseeing of Mount Abu including Dilwara Jain Temples, which have been carved with such delicate intricacy that the effect is not of marble but of frilly paper cuttings. At places, the marble has been so finely shaved that it is actually translucent! The worksmanship is much, much superior than the more famous Taj Mahal or any other monument in India or for that matter the world. It is said that this astonishing delicacy of carving was achieved by offering the artisans the weight of their marble shavings in gold... the more finely they carved, the more they earned. The afternoon is at leisure. In the evening visit NakkiLake Overnight at hotel. Day 08: Mount Abu: Departure After breakfast transfer to Airport / Railway Station for departure. Package Details
