A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE Isambard Kingdom Brunel designed his steamship, the ss Great Britain, for the rich and famous of the Victorian age. Today we continue that tradition of luxury in the selection of quality food and wines, combined with the highest standards of service. Every event held on the beautifully restored ss Great Britain is a unique experience, creating memories which last a lifetime. Our Christmas celebrations are inspired by the Victorian novelist Charles Dickens and his novel A Christmas Carol published in the same year as the ship was launched. Brunel s ss Great Britain hosts a number of Christmas parties and celebrations. These different events are suitable for larger companies or professional bodies, smaller firms, family groups and friends, as well as couples. Food is made from the finest ingredients and is freshly cooked on board ship, in the modern state-of-the-art galley next to the First Class Dining Saloon. 4 5
