Conference Highlights Clinical Research Pros & Cons Sessions Evidence Based Approach USG Guided Workshop Searching for the Right Way to Treat Latest Technical Advancements About Delhi The National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT), has a population of about 11 million and a metropolitan population of about 16.3 million, making it the second most populous city. Such is the nature of urban expansion in Delhi that its growth has expanded beyond the NCT to incorporate towns in neighboring states and at its largest extent can count a population of about 27 million residents as of 2016. The NCT and its urban region have been given the special status of National Capital Region (NCR) under the Constitution of India's 69th amendment act of 1991. The NCR includes the neighbouring cities of Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Neharpar (Greater Faridabad), Greater Noida. As a union territory, the political administration of the NCT of Delhi today more closely resembles that of a state of India, with its own legislature, high court and an executive council of ministers headed by a chief minister. New Delhi is jointly administered by the federal government of India and the local government of Delhi, and is the capital of the NCT of Delhi. The city has been continuously inhabited since the 6th century BC. Through most of its history, Delhi has served as a capital of various kingdoms and empires. It has been captured, ransacked and rebuilt several times, particularly during the medieval period, and modern Delhi is a cluster of a number of cities spread across the metropolitan region.

Same Day Agra Tour Distance: 240 kms / 4 hrs Duration: Same Day Trip Places Covered: Taj Mahal, Agra Fort Taj Mahal (closed on Friday) Agra, the city known for the Taj Mahal, the legendary monument of love - is the single most famous tourist destination of India. Approximately 210 kms from south of Delhi, Agra is located on the west bank of the river Yamuna. The architectural splendour of the city is re ected in the glorious monuments of medieval India built by the Mughals who ruled India for more than 300 years. Full Day Delhi Tour Duration: 8 hrs Duration: Full Day Trip Agra Fort (closed on Monday) The Agra Fort, also built on the banks of the river Yamuna, is another monumental mission accomplished by the great Mughal visionary, the Emperor Akbar. His son Jehangir and grandson Shah Jehan added to this imposing structure during their respective reigns. The palaces, mosques and audience halls contained within its massive walls of red sandstone are perfect examples of the amalgamation of Islamic and Hindu architectural traditions. Delhi the capital of modern India, has been a political hub and capital city for the many empires and invaders of the Indian subcontinent. It is the third largest city of the world. It is also the second largest metropolis after Mumbai with a population of over 13 million. Delhi is also one of the oldest continually inhabited cities of the world. The various monuments of Delhi stand witness to its eventful past. From the Old Fort, the Tughlaqabad area, to the various tombs in the city, each representing a separate period in the history of Delhi. The modern historical monuments in New Delhi are mostly those built during the time of the British Raj like the Parliament House, President's House, the India Gate among others. Golden Triangle Tour Destination: Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Delhi Duration: 4 Nights and 5 Days Places Covered: Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Humanyun s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple; Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri; Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar Observatory. Aside from the Imperial monuments of Delhi, the Pink city of Jaipur with the royal palaces and the overwhelmingly beautiful Taj Mahal at Agra are the principal attractions of this tour of North India. Day 1: Delhi Delhi Today, you will head for a guided city tour of the Old City of Shahjahanabad, founded by one of the greatest Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Your introduction to the city will be with a visit to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia built by Shah Jahan. Drive past the Red Fort - the magical monument in red sandstone, built at the pinnacle of the Mughal empire. Later in the afternoon proceed for the half day guided city tour of New Delhi. Visit Humayun s Tomb - the rst great example of a new distinctive style, which developed to become the hallmark of the Mughal Dynasty, Lotus Temple & Qutub Minar (Tower of Victory) - built to establish the might of Islam and onset of Muslim rule in India. Later drive past the India Gate - War Memorial Arch, Rashtrapati Bhawan - the President s Residence and the Parliament House - the Government headquarters. (duration of the tour - approximately 7 ½ - 8 hours) Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 2: Delhi - Agra (approximately 200 kms / 4 hrs) Taj Mahal Early in the morning you will be picked up from the hotel and driven to Agra to visit the world renowned Taj Mahal (closed on Friday). Referred to as one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal in Agra is the epitome of tourism in India and is celebrated for its architectural magni cence and aesthetic beauty. A symphony in white marble, a tribute to eternal love, it was built by the Emperor Shah Jehan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Agra Fort Few forts in the world have a more fascinating story to tell than the great Agra Fort, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and stronghold of the Mughal Empire. Originally planned as an impregnable military structure by Akbar, the Agra Fort, over a period of time, acquired all the elegance, lavishness and majesty of an imperial palace. Aside from the Imperial monuments of Delhi, the Pink city of Jaipur with its royal palaces and the overwhelmingly beautiful Taj Mahal at Agra are the principal attractions of this tour of North India. Overnight in Agra Day 3: Agra to Jaipur enroute Fatehpur Sikri (approximately 250 kms / 6 hrs) You will proceed to the Pink city of Jaipur (250 kms / 6hrs) enroute visiting Akbar s abandoned capital, Fatehpur Sikri. Located 40 kms from Agra, Fatehpur Sikri was built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1571 in honour of the Su Saint, Sheikh Salim Chisti. It was the Mughal capital for 14 years. Thereafter it was abandoned due to paucity of water. It is made of red sandstone and combines in uences from both Hindu and Mughal architecture. To this day, the entrance to the fort is via the road that Akbar built which leads to the Buland Darwaza, a huge 54 metre gateway. Other inspiring monuments in Fatehpur Sikri are the Hiran Minar that Akbar built in memory of his favourite elephant, the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti, Birbal's House and the Diwan-i-Khas. Overnight in Jaipur Day 4: Jaipur (Full Day) Proceed to a full day s excursion of Jaipur, commencing with a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a ve-storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires. Continue on to the ancient capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amber (Amer) Fort, perched on a ridge just outside Jaipur city. Maharaja Mansingh, Mughal Emperor Akbar s most successful general, began the construction of the Amber (Amer) Fort in the 17th century. Following your visit to Amber, enjoy a tour of the Pink City. The highlights of the tour include a visit to the City Palace Museum, which has a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes, and armoury of Mughals and Rajputs. Proceed to the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar Observatory, a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century.
