Contact us via Twitter, Facebook or using the contact form on our website. See you soon, we look forward to welcoming you. STEP 3 CHECK-IN STEP 4 SECURITY CHECK/ SCREENING
STEP 1 GETTING READY TO TRAVEL Make sure that you take all necessary travel documents with you to the airport. Check the expiry date on your identity card or international passport. For your own comfort, we recommend travelling as light as possible. Not only will this make luggage easier to carry, it will also help checks go more efficiently. TIP Save time by checking in in advance via the website of your airline. LIQUIDS IN YOUR HAND LUGGAGE, THIS IS PERMITTED: For all liquids and gels*, you can take containers of up to 100 ml in your hand luggage (used containers count as the full contents). Put them all in a transparent, resealable plastic bag with a capacity of 1 l. Liquids and gels bought from the shops in the airport are packed in a special, sealed bag, and are not included in the permitted quantity. However if the bag is opened, the contents will still be confiscated. Baby food (milk and food in pots) is permitted. The quantity permitted depends on the duration of the journey (max. for the duration of the fight). If in doubt, security staff may ask you to taste the baby food. Liquid medicines or diet supplements are only permitted for the duration of the flight, and if your GP can provide written proof that they are necessary. More information can be found at www.brusselsairport.be * Liquids and gels: water and other drinks, soup, syrup, creams, lotions and oils, perfumes, sprays, gels, shampoo and shower gels, pressurised liquids (incl. (shaving) foam and deodorants), (tooth)pastes, inseparable mixtures (such as chocolate spread or caramelised biscuit (speculoos) spread, mascara, lipstick, other products with a similar consistency.
Zaventem STEP 2 TO THE AIRPORT BY CAR ROUTE TO THE NEW FREE DROP-OFF DROPPING SOMEONE OFF The kiss & fly zone in front of the airport building is no longer accessible. 5 min. to airport building You can drop someone off directly at the free drop-off. Follow the signs on the access road (A201). You can temporarily stop here to drop someone off. You are not permitted to park here. It is a 5-minute walk from the drop-off to the airport building. Would you like to accompany someone to the departure hall? In that case, we recommend that you use one of the car parks. Parking for 30 minutes in P1-P2 or P3 costs 2, and 4 for 60 minutes. In 2018, Brussels Airport will be working to improve the Drop-off zone. The route and the signage, however, will not change. A201 TIP You can also drop someone off at the drop-off zone at Brucargo. From here, a shuttle service (24/7) will take you to the airport building. Take exit 12 Cargo on the E19 and follow the signs to Brucargo and the drop-off zone.

STEP 2 TO THE AIRPORT BY TRAIN PLAN PUBLIC TRANSPORT The airport is easily accessible by train. The Brussels Airport - Zaventem train station is located below the airport building. You can rely on a smooth and often direct service from more than 80 stations. Information and tickets can be found at www.belgianrail.be 3 2 0-1 Before exiting the train station, you will go through a pre-check zone. A security check may be carried out here.
STEP 3 CHECK-IN Check-in for all airlines takes place in the departures hall on level 3 (Departures). The flight information screen indicates at which desks you can find your airline. If you do not yet have your boarding pass and/or you still need to check your luggage in, go to the check-in desk of your airline. If you are only travelling with hand luggage, then a large number of airlines allow you to check in at the Self Check-in terminals. If you already have your boarding pass (because you checked in via the website of your airline) and are only travelling with hand luggage, you can immediately go to the security check/screening. You need to check in with the airline which is operating your flight. This might be a different airline to the one indicated by the booked flight number. In that case, it will be specified below your flight number: flight is operated by <name of airline>. DO YOU REQUIRE SPECIAL AXXICOM ASSISTANCE? We can provide special assistance from arrival at the airport to the seat in the aircraft you are travelling on. You will need to request this at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time via your travel agencies or your airline. For Special Assistance, there are separate desks in the check-in zone. You can find these next to the Travelex bureau de change near check-in row 1. NEW since 10/2017 In the lounge located in pier A, you can enjoy all the comfort you need while waiting for your flight. There is a waiting room at the beginning of pier B, where Axxicom will pick you up to lead you to your gate. Always inform your travel agency or airline in advance if you will be taking your own foldable or electric wheelchair. Ask them about the applicable rules. This is also important for your destination airport.
