The website has been updated with meeting changes and board members, event dates, etc. Trailmaster: The group gave Dan a round of applause for the work involved in getting the forest brushed. As far as our trails, everything has been cut. Dave Kalusche helped set up fences in the area that was not finished during trail set up. A branch fell across the bridge and broke one of the side rails. It has been repaired. There was a great turnout of 15 for the forest brushing. They covered a large area, removed a lot of stumps, trees, and brush. Another brushing is set for this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Meet at ZZ parking lot. The wrecking crew (Kilpatrick family) will be going out at 10:00 a.m. Sunday to do the area from Horseriders Park to Bluff Road. Meet at Horseriders Park. It is Walworth County, but has been unofficially adopted by Waukesha County. The club gets reimbursed for their time and labor. Wear blaze orange if you are helping. Dan will email the group as a reminder and to get a head count. Steve Piraino asked whether trails can be open if conditions warrant, and Dan indicated that as of December 1, they can be open. He reminded everyone to use the trail hotline to determine whether trails are open. The numbers are on the website for the various counties. Dave and Carol Schroeder went to the NP Protective Service Committee meeting regarding extending the trail to Hwy E. The village board meets next Thursday. We want to extend our trail from 59 towards North Prairie towards the railroad tracks to Hwy. E. All property owners have given permission. We are just waiting for the Board.
