THE UNDERTAKING a. NATURE OF THE UNDERTAKING The proposed development will involve the development of a 25 site campground. The development includes water, and electrical hookups, as well as a shower and restroom building. This will be on 6 acres of land, presently owned by the proponent. b. RATIONALE FOR THE PROJECT The proposed campground is located on Robinsons River, one of the best licenced salmon rivers on the west coast, with the potential to attract tourists and creating much needed employment in our area. DESCRIPTION OF THE UNDERTAKING a. GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION The project is located on Robinsons River on the west coast of Newfoundland, in the community of Robinsons. The site consist of approximately 6 acres of land. The land is bounded by Robinsons access road to the north, to the south by Robinsons River, and private land on the east and west. Attached areal photo shows the location of the development.

PHYSICAL FEATURES MAJOR PHYSICAL FEATURES The proposed development consists of 25 campsites, each site is approximately 30 ft x 50 ft. In addition, there will be a shower and restroom building constructed, plus a playground in the center of the development. a. LAND DEVELOPMENT The land will be thinned out and leveled where required. b. ACCESS ROAD The access to the purposed development will be Route 404, Robinsons to the Trans-Canada Highway. Approximately 1km. c. ELECTRICAL The development will be serviced by existing power lines. d. WATER The source of the water will be a dug well, with water station throughout the campground. e. SEWER All sewer lines from the restroom and showers will be constructed to government regulations.

AREA TO BE AFFECTED BY THE AREA The area affected by the development includes the physical impact area with the development site. During the construction of the site, all efforts will be made to protect the environment and to have minimal impact on the natural environment in the immediate area. The proposed development is located in close proximity to the Robonsons River. Robinsons River is a scheduled Atlantic Salmon river with a population of brook trout. The river is one of the best salmon rivers on the west coast. All work will be done to Federal, Provincial and Local regulations and guidelines. CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATIONAL ISSUES CONSTRUCTION TIME FRAME: The owners plan to start work on the project in the summer of 2006, ongoing to the summer of 2007.

POTENTIAL SOURCE OF POLLUTANTS a. SEWAGE: The sewage generated during the construction phase will be collected using portable toilets that will be emptied by a disposal service regulator. b. AIRBORNE EMISSIONS: All construction equipment will be required to keep exhaust systems maintained. c. CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS: All debris and garbage will be disposed at local disposal site. RESOURCE CONFLICTS a. VEGETATION: All effort will be made to maintain original landscape. b. FISH AND FISH HABITAT: All effort will be made to ensure that this project has no effect on the fish or the fish habitat in the Robinsons River.

OCCUPATIONS There will be significant number of construction and operation jobs involved with the project in that the project involves the construction of a building as well as service facilities for a campground.
